Alaska Bear outfitter question.

Hey everyone, My wife said that my present for finishing my apprenticship I can book a Black Bear hunt in Alaska. The catch is that my wife wants to come and spend the time im hunting reading in a cozy lodge. Anyone have any reccomendations? We are just now starting looking so we havent discussed budget yet or anything specific. I dont need a boone and crocket bear or anything. I just want a awesome memory. Maybe a little fishing on the side. Thank you for taking time to read this!

One option would be a boat based bear hunt out of Homer or Whittier. Wife can hang out on the boat, and you get your fill of coastal bear hunting and all the halibut/rockfish fishing you want. There's a lot of outfits that have very comfortable amenities on their boats.

You could text a guy name Jake and see about doing an overnight black bear hunt over his baits for a couple grand kill fee and then just rent a car and hang out with the wife the rest of the time?
