It was Harsh as F**k! But... I am someone who has some of the comorbidities. Hypertension, a bit overweight. And my lungs are sensitive, if I catch a cold I always wince and cross my fingers that it doesn't go into my Bronchial tubes, or I'm screwed.
2 months solid. Feb 2020 to Apr 2020. I was just getting better when they called the first lockdown.
At the worst part I was gurgling on inhale on exhale and even while sleeping. Low-Oxygenation the whole 9 yds.
Promethizine/Codeine Cough Syrup, a Z-Pac and the Benzotonate Pearls are your friends!
Long story shorter, the way the disease works is a bunch of vasoconstriction happens in the lungs and also phlegm gets to choking out the airspace in the alveoli (air-sacs) in your lungs.
When I was finally starting to get better I was wharfing up 50-cent piece sized chunks of nasty grey and yellow lung-butter. The chunks where soo big it was invoking my gag reflex when wharfing them up!
Upon initial uptake, the fever is VERY high. For me it exacerbated my areas of Trauma injury to my Coccyx/Saccrum and Lumbar. And I will probably require some kind of surgical intervention here regarding that problem. Micro-discetomy. I didn't eat for two days straight Initially. Drank a dang lot of Arizona Iced Tea.
We used a steamer at night so I'd sleep better. Put a bunch of camphor in the water on the steamer. I mean A LOT! Helped a lot with being able to sleep better.
I just made sure to tweak what I was eating to be sure to include buncha greens, green-leafies and sauteed veggies. I work from home so never really stopped working much. Just on the bad days where the Low-Ox was kickin' my butt.
Since finishing with Covid, my area of back injury is a whole new thing now. I'm trying to do this hunting season, see it thru, then next calendar year figure I'll start all the visits about this back injury area, so it can hit the out of pocket max within the same calendar year.
In the meantime, Dr is being nice and giving me Tylenol #3's as needed for my outdoor adventures. And I use them very sparingly. I figure if I get lucky this year I'll likely need it for the harvest and packout.
EDIT: Mama likely brought it home from her work. A higher up in her company flew over to a manufacturing plant near to Wuhan. Probably brought it back with him, gets to her and others in HR, then me and the boy got it like 3-5 days later after she came home with it.
The two of them experienced it like your typical strong flu. Bad, not fun, but got over with in what you'd consider a regular amount of time. Not me Jack! Whoo lawdy those talons sunk in deep into my lungs with this F**ker!
EDIT: Unvaxed and plan to stay that way for this Vax until it has more time out there in the field in order for them to tweak it a bit here and there before I risk daring to put that isht in me. Also I'd kinda like the govt to reinstate the pharma having liability for the vaxxine and any effects it causes before I happen to go and let them stick me with it.
