Right, but do you do fecal floats?

We lost all effectiveness with it 20 years ago.

Parasites build up resistance.
Yes, wife uses the microscope to examine.
So far, so good as far as resistance. We don't use it just because the calendar says it's time. We use it when we suspect conditions warrant it.
And frankly we use a far less volatile 'mectin,' one which isn't subject to long term meat and/or milk restrictions.

That's good. Years ago we wormed because it was time.

Now we use it on individual animals as they need it, mostly cause we only have one that is effective right now. Trying to make sure will will still be able to use it, also did a lot of selection for parasite resistance.

I'd imagine Highlands you hardly need to worm. When I had them they were the hardiest cattle I had experienced.

I don't know if there is an organized group, but there was widespread usage in most provinces in India where the delta variant was the primary strain. The provinces that didn't use ivermectin had a higher mortality rate.

This was when the Vax rate was still low.

I will take a look.

Our standard protocol is Azithromycin, Dexamethasone, Enoxaparin, O2 therapy as needed and Remdesivir. Obviously it only increases from there, that's in a fairly healthy mildly symptomatic patient.

My daughter brought it home from summer camp. She only had a mild fever for 12hours(night) she was fine next morning. Only reason we even went to doctor was we tthought she might have strep or ear infection. Long story short wife and I started taking ivermectin, doxycycline and vitamins. She ended up testing positive three days later. She had extremely mild flu and sinus like symptoms for a day. Me ,I tested positive 5 days later and had fever one night and mild headache for 2.5 days.

Essentially it's was a big nothing for entire family. By definition our experience with meds can be dismissed as anecdotal or you can chalk it up to we fall in to the 99.9 of are age and risk class. Regardless we had extremely mild experience with covid. My doctor basically said our experience is pretty much in line with vast numbers of people he has treated for covid with ivermectin/ doxycycline/ vit combo. As with any viral infection treatment success is based on early adoption/treatment.

He had our ivermectin prescription filled by CVS.

My wife got it, I did not. She ran a fever for about 12 days, no smell or taste after about the fourth day and a nasty cough. Aside from not drinking or eating after her you couldn’t be more exposed than I was. I feel blessed to have dodged that bullet, I would like to know if she’s immune now and whether or not I have been the whole time. We were fortunate to live in a state with no lockdowns so we’ve been business as usual for the entire time. I probably stayed home in the beginning a little more than usual.

I don’t think its politics that make people not want a vaccine, they have lied about and distorted everything about this event and they have absolutely been trying make it a much bigger deal than it is. At this point it seems to be all about the vaccine, not the virus. I’m also done with these clowns wearing mask in front of the camera, yet none of them wear one when they think the cameras are off. You can’t help but think we are all being played.

We have friends in Australia and its flat out criminal how those people are being treated.
I still have to go back to 2008-2009 during the H1N1 pandemic. It was done and over with fairly quickly, especialy when it really hit the adolescent group. What was different?

Had it not been such a "crusade" to unseat somebody, this whole debacle would likely be done and over with now as well...

Some really great responses at this thread, and I want to thank those that took the time.
Fatcamp, Mike7 and others here--as healthcare workers some of you are on the front lines with this bullshit and as a society we're forever indebted to you guys.

Mike7, what's the human-approved ivermectin drug? Suspect that it would be good to just stockpile a bit of that rather than the horse paste which probably isn't near as exact in formulation.
There is a ton of anecdotal evidence that the apple paste works, and has little to no adverse effects when taken prudently.
I'm typically not 'that guy' when it comes to stuff like that product, but I've lost all faith and confidence in the media, most doctors and 'science' on this subject.

Ivermectin is a human drug from day one. From the ag cross over side, the difference is dosage and possible secondary drug additive.

Basically if you are going the none-Prescription route, and going ag, make sure you have no secondary drugs added and your dosage is correct.

I grew up in a feedlot so I've probably had gallons absorbed through my skin, and I'm still alive, but the pour on is flammable so id pass on that version :)

So, is the varient more deadly than the original? It's said to be more contagious, and if that's the case, then why are we allowed to go on with life while just wearng a mask...?

I personally don't have the time or patience dealing with the nonsense attributed to a varient less dangerous when my household has taken the "cocktail". Congestion and coughs are common in my household in August as ragweed is in full pollination...

You're thinking about it wrong.

Stop thinking like a serf.

I know nothing about ranching, but I have had a couple of farmer/rancher types admit to taking the Ivermectin (??straight ivermectin) paste for covid infection that is only FDA approved for oral administration to horses.

I have no idea about the actual safety of this preparation, but luckily these two fellows were feeling fine, and I confirmed that they had taken a dose in the lower end of the safe dosing range for humans.

The prescription ivermectin approved for human parasitic infections comes only in 3mg tablets. Some people prefer to pay cash and use programs like goodrx.com for drugs like this to make it more affordable, rather than going through their prescription medical insurance plan.

It was Harsh as F**k! But... I am someone who has some of the comorbidities. Hypertension, a bit overweight. And my lungs are sensitive, if I catch a cold I always wince and cross my fingers that it doesn't go into my Bronchial tubes, or I'm screwed.

2 months solid. Feb 2020 to Apr 2020. I was just getting better when they called the first lockdown.

At the worst part I was gurgling on inhale on exhale and even while sleeping. Low-Oxygenation the whole 9 yds.

Promethizine/Codeine Cough Syrup, a Z-Pac and the Benzotonate Pearls are your friends!

Long story shorter, the way the disease works is a bunch of vasoconstriction happens in the lungs and also phlegm gets to choking out the airspace in the alveoli (air-sacs) in your lungs.

When I was finally starting to get better I was wharfing up 50-cent piece sized chunks of nasty grey and yellow lung-butter. The chunks where soo big it was invoking my gag reflex when wharfing them up!

Upon initial uptake, the fever is VERY high. For me it exacerbated my areas of Trauma injury to my Coccyx/Saccrum and Lumbar. And I will probably require some kind of surgical intervention here regarding that problem. Micro-discetomy. I didn't eat for two days straight Initially. Drank a dang lot of Arizona Iced Tea.

We used a steamer at night so I'd sleep better. Put a bunch of camphor in the water on the steamer. I mean A LOT! Helped a lot with being able to sleep better.

I just made sure to tweak what I was eating to be sure to include buncha greens, green-leafies and sauteed veggies. I work from home so never really stopped working much. Just on the bad days where the Low-Ox was kickin' my butt.

Since finishing with Covid, my area of back injury is a whole new thing now. I'm trying to do this hunting season, see it thru, then next calendar year figure I'll start all the visits about this back injury area, so it can hit the out of pocket max within the same calendar year.

In the meantime, Dr is being nice and giving me Tylenol #3's as needed for my outdoor adventures. And I use them very sparingly. I figure if I get lucky this year I'll likely need it for the harvest and packout.

EDIT: Mama likely brought it home from her work. A higher up in her company flew over to a manufacturing plant near to Wuhan. Probably brought it back with him, gets to her and others in HR, then me and the boy got it like 3-5 days later after she came home with it.

The two of them experienced it like your typical strong flu. Bad, not fun, but got over with in what you'd consider a regular amount of time. Not me Jack! Whoo lawdy those talons sunk in deep into my lungs with this F**ker!

EDIT: Unvaxed and plan to stay that way for this Vax until it has more time out there in the field in order for them to tweak it a bit here and there before I risk daring to put that isht in me. Also I'd kinda like the govt to reinstate the pharma having liability for the vaxxine and any effects it causes before I happen to go and let them stick me with it.

Unbelievable statement in this country. Youtube, FB, Twitter....reminders of the East German Stasi.

combine that with French police literally asking for vax papers and it’s replaying shit all over again.

When kids are not taught the reality of how things were back in the day, they cannot draw any comparison to today so when knowledgeable people do it, they are called “conspiracy theorists” or “nut jobs.” When kids actually believe People who use fascist tactics are anti-fascists the game is over.

the Sheer idiocy of people today astounds me.

today there was a picture of a helicopter taking people out of the embassy in Afghanistan. I very seriously doubt any college kid knows what that scene resembles in American history. Pathetic.

Go read Kiplings Gods of the Copybook Headings because they - with terror and slaughter - are about to return.

I had it this time last year. Right before heading out west to the San Juans. Luckily, my case was pretty mild.

If you haven’t heard of China’s social credit system, you should check it out. Sadly, it looks like it is on its way here.
