What did you do in the reloading room today?

I'm sorry, bro, but you don't have enough powder to justify your well-organized reloading bench. LOL

You can’t even see 1/3 of my powder in that picture, that’s just what is out for immediate use ;-)

I accidentally spilled an MTM box of 257 Robts reloads that consisted of 2 different projectiles, 3 different powders and multiple charge weights. Spent almost 2 hours weighing, sorting and guestimating their order back in the box. Feeling confident that I got it right.

First time that's ever happened since I started reloading in the early '70s.

On the brass, takes one min to write a charge # on the side or you could mark the case head. Maybe it's an extra unnecessary step, but I don't want to be mixing up cases/charges.

@eaglemountainman i do the same as these ^^^ guys because I did the same thing you did as I was unloading stuff out of the back seat. An hour and a half drive to this particular range and I ruin the entire trip for that rifle. Ended up shooting the loads just because I didn’t want mess with trying to sort them when I got back.

Just finished a 10 round pressure ladder for my .257AI. Used Ramshot Magnum from 52.0-56.5, CCI 250 primers, newly fire formed R-P brass all within 1 grain of case weight, Berger 115 VLD at 3.1” OAL. Now if we could get some heat to do some shooting. I like working ladders in much warmer conditions lol.

Finally found some 7/8 claybuster wads for my trap loads today; gonna run out of Xtralite powder before I shoot these up. Probably should find a new recipe for trap loads my arthritic shoulders can stand; gotta be one that uses powder I can find. Looking, too, for some Trailboss for my plinker loads in the leverguns; down to my last full pound of 4759.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, but it's the 1st such incident in 50 years. Instead of marking up all my cases, I've resolved to just keep my bench more clutter free.

Whatever works best for you but just as information when tumbled the marks come right off

Taught my buddy how to reload his 270 wby mag

Amazed at how far the discoloration went down his brass during annealing, much different than what I use

Also surprised by getting pressure signs on a ten degree day 2 grains below book max

I too use a sharpie on the brass. Makes it idiot proof and also helps me identify pressure signs with different charge weights, when I arrive home.

Loaded up 50 6.5 Bbiscuits 130 VLD-H. Deprimed another 25 with new frankford arsenal depriming tool while watching TV. I might like this little guy.
