Over the past few sessions I've done mostly 22 ARC stuff. Actually sorted a box of 75gr ELD-Ms since loading them to mag length resulted in approximately half of the 10 being over 2.260". That was before measuring to the lands, just trying to set them at mag length. After measuring, and then figuring out how far to set back the longest bullets to Hornady's length of 2.250", I figured out that I'm jumping about .065" to the lands.

Today loaded up 10 of the ELD-Ms half a grain under max of Accurate 2520 to test. Also loaded 5 each of 75gr BTHP match bullets, at two different charges of IMR 8208XBR to test. I've only got a pound of that, should have bought more when it was in stock. But still want to try it out and see.

I've also really been contemplating picking up a MEC Jr kit and dive into reloading for shotguns....

Did some 30-06 work.
- Resized a mixed lot of 25 pcs of brass for fouler/sighter rounds.
- Loaded said mixed brass with 57g H4350 and 165 BTSP.
- Loaded 12 trial rounds of n555 and 165 GS.

Fine tuned some 6.5PRC ammo.
- Loaded a few .005 closer the lands.
- Loaded a few .5g more powder.

Dispensed some BH209 for muzzlelaoder season that's right around the corner.

Finally had a chance to test some loads today. I think I'm set for 6 creed and 300prc.

I had the weirdest thing happen. Previously I had really good results with N570 in my 300prc. So good I loaded 50 of them. Today I verified them, they grouped pretty damn well but half of them would shoot right at 2800fps and the other half were 2840. The odd thing is the variation was only 1 or 2 fps off of either velocity extreme. Same powder, primers, brass, and bullets. I think I'm going to stick with H1000. I have a feeling it's primer related because my H1000 loads with the same WLRM primers are all over the place with ES/SD.

The Tikka was spraying the 77tmks but I have a load that's good enough. I've been spoiled with my NX8s so shooting the 3x9 trijicon on my son's rifle for groups is a little more challenging.

Really didn't shoot that good for me. 2"+ on the two five shot groups I shot, while the 75gr ELD-Ms went under an inch for 10 shots. Overall length on them was 2.150" plus or minus like six thou on each side of that, and that was jumping about .030" to the lands.

75 BTHPs run great for me at 20 off in a Tikka. I was worried because I stocked up on 2k of them for cheap but they're great so far. Honestly they shoot a bit better than 77tmks for me in my son's tikka.

Since I asked, I loaded some up myself. Got good velocity and kinda meh accuracy. I just set them to 2.12 and gave it a shot. May try walking them out a little longer. Same experience with the 75eld-m in my arc also though, they shoot significantly better as it stands now.

Having a load for the bthps is tempting to figure out when you factor in the price difference

I agree that it would be nice if they would shoot on the cost side. I'd like to try a different powder, both charge weights in them had cratered primers, and I was under Hornady's max for the bolt gun data.

I was shooting n150, so no data to go off of, but I’m at least gonna stretch it out in steps of .01s before I give up on it. Been shooting eld’s with lever, so I may try that next if this one doesn’t pan out

Well since we’ve been talking about it, I did get the 75 bthps to shoot in the 22ARC.

Stretched the COL to 2.16 and they shot much better. At 2.12 they were shooting around 2inches and at 2.16, they should near an inch.

Now I’ve got a 75eldm/leverevolution and 75bthp/n150 loads shooting just under 2900fps out of an 18in AR

How many shots were in each group?

Today I am going to cast a couple thousand .401 TC 175 grainers to replace what I screwed up last night. I was getting ready to tumble lube some .451 TC 230's and I knocked a tub full of .401's over on the floor. I won't risk the grit and **** getting into my barrels so I just dumped the whole lot back into the smelting pot. Right now I'm waiting on my pot to get up to casting temp.

Finished loading up 100 .223s with 77gr TMKs and 200 6.5CM with 140 ELD-Ms.

Tonight I'm going to load 20ish more of the 140s using the Uniflow instead of the Chargemaster and see if I'm really gaining anything appreciable by weighing each charge.

And just as a quick update, even if they shoot the same I won't be using the Uniflow with H4350 again. Just couldn't get it to drop reliably and I ended up double checking every charge on the scale anyways, so it didn't save any time.
