Ted Turner Dies at 87 RIP

Man I’m down with this post and your vibe for sure.

But I couldn’t help this: I would say I’m fairly certain Ted and David Alan Coe are most certainly not having a steak dinner together.
Are you calling David Alan Coe a vegetarian?!?!

I must yield and admit you’re right on that. I doubt they’re catching up on the other side of the pearly gates.

Both these gentlemen lived quite long lives. Even with all they accomplished, everything they did. Did they FEEL like they did enough when they died? Does any person? Makes you grateful for the seconds you have.

My god! He married someone with a different view point than you?! And was accepting of them? Woo wee, sounds like Ted was a little TOO ACCEPTING of people’s personal liberties and freedoms.

To the hell with CNN. We all know Ted created WCW wrestling and it was the pinnacle of cool. RIP big Ted, I’m sure you and ole David Alan Coe are digging into a steak dinner right now.
Dont care about the other stuff but DX riding in on a tank to take over wcw was the pinnacle of cool

Without CNN, we wouldn't have had the premise for Anchorman II. May Ted steer the warm winds and long live Ron Burgundy.

He married a communist. Jane Fonda. Owned CNN.
Neither makes me think he had a good brain. RIP regardless.
To be fair he did divorce her and as for CNN, he sold the company 30 years ago. It was hardly then what it is now.

For most of us in the South, Ted is know for his ownership of the Atlanta Braves and building one of the greatest franchises of the 90's. That practically made him untouchable down here.
