Just off the phone with NFA Branch...I've got two submitted 3/17 and 3/23 that are in "pending".

Agent said average for Trust eForm is 241 days...so, on average, two more months for me. It will be very close to my Coues Deer hunt.

How long did you have to hold? I tried to call earlier today to see if there was any status change for my submission at 243 days, but gave up after about 20 min.

I called this morning and got through after 51 minutes, but the woman I spoke with after the wait was both helpful and pleasant.

What’s the phone number to call? I may do the same.

After two rounds of emails I received the following response:

Finalizing your application is very important to NFA. Please know that completing NFA status checks for applicants will significantly delay processing efforts. NFA appreciates your understanding so that our staff can focus on processing applications and not researching status checks. ATF receives hundreds of Ask the Expert Inquiries each day, your continued patience is greatly appreciated.
Way to go...you just delayed my two applications :ROFLMAO:

About a 15 minute wait. Only called because their website wasn't giving me ANY information on my two applications. Not sure if it is because I'm running MacOS or if they just have a crappy website...

I am at 241 days today. No approval. I also have 4 more in queue after that. Bet they don’t do them all at once which would be the smart and effective way to handle it.

I would feel comfortable calling that a batch approval. Congrats on getting your cans out of jail.

You should write up a review of your hydra once you get a chance to use it for a bit.

I’ll do that. I got home late yesterday, but put a few rounds through it in the yard. I loaded some subsonic and honestly thought the first round was a misfire. It was so quiet all I could hear was the bullet smacking the tree 50 yards away.

Since they're apparently understaffed, underfunded, overworked, crippled by pandemics, etc, maybe a few thousand of us could volunteer to help out and ease their workload.
