Have serving separation on both cams about a 1/4 length area with definite string visible
Season fast approaching. Local pro shop says they won't reserve cam serving for liability...ok choice words go through my mind.. ask what ya think he says "that string could last forever a new one could break first shot...WTF... more choice thoughts
1- should I chance it... gambler at heart hahaha...but I would rather lose money than an elk at 35yds
2- new string on it's way but do I go back to square one completely I know the peep will need shot through but what about bow tune and my sight
Thanks

It's a tough situation and I know your dilemma. I like to replace my string in the spring or early summer so I have plenty of time to get my bow dialed in. I didn't replace my string this year and now I feel uncomfortably close to hunting season to start over on my tune.

I hear you I feel like if I swap the string I'm just gonna rush it and talk myself into satisfaction instead of Gauruntee

If I was you, I would probably go all in and swap the strings. You should be able to get the bow dialed over a weekend I would think.

The stock string servings separated on my Bowtech Old Glory around the cams after just a few hundred shots, but it was fine for the next two years and probably 20k shots that way. But everyone has to make their own decisions on that.
