I would do 338 arc

Any of the 338s would do nicely id think.
338 arc in AR-15 pistol or 338 fed and 8.6 BLK in AR10 platform.
Bullet choice would matter far more than the head stamp

I hunt with a 458 socom SBR. It’s my bear and moose gun. It doubles as my bear protection.

12.5” barrel. I haven’t taken an animal with, but have no concerns. Got quite a few friends that have taken moose and bear with.

Our moose last year was harvested by my daughter with 6.5cm.

I carry the socom and the 6.5 and our goal is whoever gets the shot gets the shot.

I use 325ttsx with the socom. It’s a blast to shoot and very accurate.
