You and I are on the same team, but see things a little different. In my mind, I expect that when someone campaigns and is open about gun control, then when elected actually tries to push gun control, why should I be surprised? I would also think that they are doing what they said they would do and I voted for them. So in my mind, I would be supporting gun control. Why would you vote for someone, if you are not in favor of what they support? I don’t even pick a party. I vote based on moral issues but I do have a hard stop on the 2nd Amendment. If a politician supports gun control, they won’t get my vote.Guns are not top of mind at all when democrats vote. It’s more like 7th. The primary driver is economics. The hard-line gun stuff is not borne out of the average democrat calling their reps and saying they want this or that. The hard-line stuff is from influencers and power players who the rep, once elected, wants to keep happy. The .orgs who pay 50,000$ a plate at fund raisers. Not the dude who is paying 5$ To a candidate.
god damn it, now everyone in my office is wondering why i just burst out cacklingif any of biden's proposed gun legislation passes, i will eat my own shit

look at sandy hook as just one of many examples where democrats could have fought for gun control legislation but didn't.
remember, trump is the one who banned bump stocks. everyone seems to forget about that.
This is kind of a ridiculous statement. Most Americans will not find a politician they agree 100% with. Voting for someone does not mean you support 100% of their ideas or actions, and it’s your responsibility to let them know how you feel about individual issues. You and I are on the same team, but see things a little different. True, but you can’t tell me that you don’t know when a politician is anti 2A. They are all pretty vocal about it. My point is, you can’t blame them for pushing anti 2A stuff when they campaign on it. Not saying you have to agree with everything, but you need to have a top 3 or 4 issues that you care about. 2A is in my top items, so no one can blame me for voting in someone that is Anti 2A.This is kind of a ridiculous statement.
