Do they really have the resources to put in prison millions of honest people? The answer is no, they don't. What bills like this do is make it possible to put someone through hell when they are politically targeted.

The natural deaths of some politicians cannot come swift enough, whether it is a massive stroke, heart attack, or whatever else people die from everyday...

Guns are not top of mind at all when democrats vote. It’s more like 7th. The primary driver is economics. The hard-line gun stuff is not borne out of the average democrat calling their reps and saying they want this or that. The hard-line stuff is from influencers and power players who the rep, once elected, wants to keep happy. The .orgs who pay 50,000$ a plate at fund raisers. Not the dude who is paying 5$ To a candidate.
You and I are on the same team, but see things a little different. In my mind, I expect that when someone campaigns and is open about gun control, then when elected actually tries to push gun control, why should I be surprised? I would also think that they are doing what they said they would do and I voted for them. So in my mind, I would be supporting gun control. Why would you vote for someone, if you are not in favor of what they support? I don’t even pick a party. I vote based on moral issues but I do have a hard stop on the 2nd Amendment. If a politician supports gun control, they won’t get my vote.

They are simply setting the stage for what is to come. They need reasons to confiscate, and they will make examples of people. It is coming and it will keep coming until the America hating leftists are thrown out of office. That would be the whole of the Democrat Socialist Party. Oh, they're not all Commies. A mix of Commies and sheep who do nothing but follow their masters. Like many voters.
NOTHING is more important to all sportsmen and all who value the Constitution.

The Commies do NOT want things like this discussed, we must be silenced. Their sheep agree with them.

if any of biden's proposed gun legislation passes, i will eat my own shit

look at sandy hook as just one of many examples where democrats could have fought for gun control legislation but didn't.

remember, trump is the one who banned bump stocks. everyone seems to forget about that.

it doesn't matter when the bills are written or introduced, they take dead bills and add or take crap out and run them back through all the time.

one of the covid relief bills was written in 2019

Video or it didn't happen.

While I don't think he'll get anything done, I don't trust the senate enough to hold the line. The House is always very fickle and unpredictable.

On a way out there note, it may actually behoove us to have a few laws on the books while the supreme court is potentially in our favor. Once they speak, Congress and Joe can suck it. Risky play, but ends the argument.

This is kind of a ridiculous statement. Most Americans will not find a politician they agree 100% with. Voting for someone does not mean you support 100% of their ideas or actions, and it’s your responsibility to let them know how you feel about individual issues.

True, but you can’t tell me that you don’t know when a politician is anti 2A. They are all pretty vocal about it. My point is, you can’t blame them for pushing anti 2A stuff when they campaign on it. Not saying you have to agree with everything, but you need to have a top 3 or 4 issues that you care about. 2A is in my top items, so no one can blame me for voting in someone that is Anti 2A.
