Anyone know if a vortex viper 65 and a summit ss tripod will fit together in a long pocket? Medium probably not im guessing but large should be ok? I am really thinking about this type of set up.
Those will fit in the medium for sure.

Hey Aron, I know it's not what you guys recommend but can the cargo panel be run between a mountain warrior and a duplex or am I better off with the small meat shelf. Seems like the panel would secure the load better.
Look at my k clip video and you can see how I rig up the pack for a meat shelf.

Aron, Ok so here is how I'm thinking of running this. Please let me know if u see any issues.

Bikini frame
LH lid
Cargo panel
OR 55L dry bag for camp and food
Two large pockets for outside cargo panel
One or two med pockets inside cargo panel
Two small or med pouches on belt
Hanging water bladder pouch

Can I carry sawtooth, food, sleeping bag, pad, and some clothes in a 55 L bag. Probably 5 days worth of food.

I would carry all camp stuff in dry bag. Run day pack with everything but dry bag. Does that work? Thanks

I guess I have an odd question.. I have been eyeballing the mountain warrior and just haven't pulled the trigger. For versatility sake would this be a better all around setup? I would run it very similar to geriggs post but on a duplex.. Thanks fellas

I think the Cargo Panel is slightly more versatile than the Rambler, BUT, if you are packing a rifle, then the Rambler is a better option for sure.

That's a tough one brother! Do you day hunt more than backpack hunt and how many days/night are you planning on staying normally.
Sorry Aron, I meant the mountain warrior.. I'd probably run it with the guide lid too just to add to the thought

I think this the route I'm going to go for this season. I like this version of the Cargo Panel. I'm going to get a camp bag instead of the dry sack because I covet the center zip so much. The nice thing is if I expect wet weather, I can still use a dry sack. I think this setup solves the access issues I have when using my HC7000, with a minimal weight penalty. It also has way more versatility, and I can use all of the pouches I already own! Time will tell...

Aron, I've been looking at a rambler, now that the cargo panel is available I'm not certain. I have a DT2, so would the rambler be too similar? I'm thinking the cargo panel would give me more options, and compliment the DT2 better. Any thoughts, or am I missing something?

We offer a hanging water bladder bag that works well when packing meat or just hanging between the frame and CP. It will move out of the way when hauling heavy loads so it won't be over compressed.
I'm curious also about running a bladder when u have meat or camp bag in cargo panel

If you have the DT2, I would get the Cargo Panel over the Rambler. As you mentioned above, it will complement the DT2 whereas the Rambler would be a bit of a double tap.

The warrior for would be my suggestion. The CP could do it for sure, but if you're only using it when you come out west, the Warrior is a better option.
More 4-7 day trips.. Make it out west once a year so its usually a backpack hunt.

If this compression panel is used with a Bikini frame, what's stopping the load from being compressed between the stays and into my back?

Just common sense on how you load it. If you put pointy thing towards your back it could touch.
