I own three MKC knives; Stoned Goat 2.0, the Freezeout and the Westslope. All three were hair popping sharp out of the box, fit and finish was excellent. I've used the Freezeout and Westslope cleaning Goldeye; if you don't know what Goldeye are, they are very bony fish and have large heavy scales that kill a blades edge. I was happy to find out that both worked supremely well and retained their edges. Both have the magnacut stainless steel washed blades, very easy to clean and maintain. My only complaint is the sheath; kydex is a good sheath material but the wear options are limited. I had a dangler leather sheath made for the Westslope by Grizzly Saddlery in Great Falls Montana. and will be having one made for the Freezeout.
