You're mistaken, we have said we don't take down our gear reviews. We have taken down all kinds of non-gear review threads for various reasons. Not sure what your getting at?
My post was regarding threads disappearing and possible selective censorship. Being this place thrives on UNBIASED reviews and opinions from real deal outdoorsmen and women, it seemingly goes against that philosophy when certain things are removed-in this case member opinions that I don't believe broke forum rules. I don't know why certain threads have disappeared, and don't really care. However, I do think it is a slippery slope "if" and I say IF as I don't know for sure, but in the event it was removed for forum members commenting on a backpack that was from a site sponsor-with factual information, that could be the total definition of bias.
Ultimately, I don't care for these wordy arguments on a computer, and don't care enough. Rock on Bro-
i think in the context, that was the best option... i watched the video awhile back, and listened to the podcast on my 6hr drive back down south last night and didn't see the thread, but it sounds like it was a shit show... i wasn't tempted to grab the pitchfork watching the video, and if i was on that hunt, i knew i wouldn't have had any better of an outcome (maybe going forward i will, seeing that good shooters are missing fairly easy shots due to the extreme angles i have never practiced myself)I took it down. They asked me to take it down when they pulled the video. It's not deleted and will be back up when the video is back up.
As you can see it's still there with a note. No conspiracy
Thanks Ryan.I took it down. They asked me to take it down when they pulled the video. It's not permanently deleted and will be back up when the video is back up.
That’s the one I was thinking of! It wasn’t a goat hunt, my mistake.Speaking of shoot out i think the thread on the 200" ram called the "Duke" who got in a gunfight has also been removed.
Edit: I did not search far enough down to find it, i was wrong.
I am a nobody, but I feel like locking the comments but allowing the thread to remain viewable would help with context. It has left an outstanding amount of questions for those who haven't seen the thread. Respectfully. The participation or views on that particular thread were Dismal compared to the audience that the podcast just reached. As you can see it's still there with a note. No conspiracy
Success is what happened. When I joined this forum a few years ago, just about every member was trying to Sniff Snyder's jock strap. Today it seems like the entire forum is against him.
Not sure what happened, everyone is entitled to their own opinion......

Disappointed in what though?
Giving people the benefit of the doubt first and then finding out the reasoning behind actions that you may disagree with at first glance, that should be the way adults interact.
