I have a rowing machine which is currently in storage at my parents. Aside from that I have -
Pull-up bar
Kettlebells(various weights)
Dumbbells(various weights)
Weight vest
30# sandbag
Resistance bands.
Question for you lot. My heaviest kettlebell is a 35lbs, my heaviest dumbbell is a 30lbs. I'm slowly looking to increase the weights I have - should I first start to get a 2nd of my 35 lbs KB/30 lbs DB(to create a pair) or should I go for something in the 50ish lbs range? I do have a set of 20lbs on both the KB/DB.
I do a combination of all of the above. What I do now is use my 2 20lbs KB for overhead sets and use my 35lbs KB for bent over rows. Looking to make my "lighter" set heavier ad my "heavier" set even heavier so I can get stronger.Depends on what you like to do with the KB’s. If you’re doing a lot of swings or unilateral training, one 35lb KB and another heavier one works great. If it were me, I’d get another 30lb DB and then a heavier KB. I have a 35lb and 50lb KB with various DB sets. Definitely not a total set but works well. Very rarely have I needed two matching KB’s for what I do.

That’s about exactly what I have. Concept 2 rower, kettlebells up to 70lb, dumbbells (20,25,30,35,40,45lbs) and a squat stand that only gets used as a pull up bar. I also have a box to do step ups with.I got nothing on lots of you guys. I have a rowing machine, a set of good kettle bells, and dumbells in my office along with a pull up bar.
I keep things pretty simple and stick to swings, TGUs, goblet squats and snatches when I do kettlebell workouts. I have some lighter ones but my most used one is a 24kg/53lb one and when I’m doing lots of work, I start adding in the 70lb bell until I can do my entire workout with the 70.I do a combination of all of the above. What I do now is use my 2 20lbs KB for overhead sets and use my 35lbs KB for bent over rows. Looking to make my "lighter" set heavier ad my "heavier" set even heavier so I can get stronger.
Thanks for the feedback - Happy New Year!
