Going to do a few anecdotal tests with these suppressors. These are the suppressors I have, don’t want to hear about the ones I don’t have. The rifle used for the test is a 6CM with a 22” barrel.

The first one being sound. We are not pewscience.com if you haven’t check them out you should. We are more bro science which can be very relevant in certain situations. So for this test I had a shooter placed 10 yards in front of us. The shooter fired two shot with each suppressor. We had him repeat the process. The three listeners wrote down which can they though was quietest from 1 to 4. The top two suppressors were very close so we had him shoot them again. The interesting part was all three “judges” scored it the same way. I would add that they are all very close and I would use all of them hunting. They are all very well built and should give you a lifetime to shooting pleasure.

The Gunwerks 6ix+ was the loudest but also the lightest suppressor.

The Thunderbeast Dominus took third which did surprise me because of its weight and girth.

The CGS Hyperion K took second but it was VERY close.

The AB Raptor eight stack took the top spot. The FRP from this suppressor is impressive.

To be continued with POI shift and accuracy.

I think AB is way underrated. Their cans are awesome, they do get a bit heavy with the longer reflex but damn are they so quiet, especially with the reflex. I have the 4, 6, 8 and 10 stack and I tell my friends that it's very hard to beat the 8 stack, there's a reason it's their most popular. The 10 stack isn't much better in my anecdotal opinion

I really wanted to get an AB when I bought one a few months ago but my local shop had the Hyperion K so I went with that one.

To me the Hyperion K has a hollow sound which I prefer over the AB but the Ab had less crack(overall sound). Its hard to explain unless you hear them together.

I watched the AB Suppressor video comparing Raptor 8 w/2” Reflex to Omega 300. Good marketing video but I noticed a couple of “gimmicks”

1. They weighed/measured the Omega with the Bravo Brake Mount, which adds weight and length

2. The also weighed/measured with the end brake, which adds weight/length and possibly more noise at mid rifle (sound measuring point).

Their measurements had Raptor 8 with 2” reflex 4dB quieter than the Omega shooting 308 Win 147s.

I’m interested in the Raptor 6 with a 2” or 3” reflex…or maybe the newish Alaskan 360 Ti at 6 oz.

I’ve shot a Harvester and Omega neither are impressive to me.

Never trust companies that compare their products to others:)

I have a AB four stack, 4” and 2” reflex. The reflex definitely changes the tone it’s hard to guess how much db reduction they have. I really wish pewscience would test them.

How would you compare the Raptor 4 with 4” Reflex to the Omega?

I've got a rugged alaskan 360 TI on order. The dead air nomad TI is all I have to compare the AB raptor cans to so far until the alaskan arrives. The nomad is also a very quiet can on my 300 prc but I still think the raptor 6/8 with a shorter reflex like 3 inch is quieter to my ear

I just wish that AB Raptor didn't look like a sex toy🤓

Really interested in what you find the raptor really has my interest along with the nomad lt and the hyperion. Pretty sure I won't go wrong with these 3 and just need to pull the trigger on one

Question on the reflex…is there a gap between the barrel and reflex end cap?

Is so, is there blast “leakage”?
