Question for those running the Raptor 8 or 10 w/ the 5" reflex: how far does the can stick out past the barrel with the reflex? I'm between these two and a Nomad Ti XC. Adding length is my biggest concern while maximizing sound suppression.

Basically if the Nomad is gonna add roughly 7" past the end of the barrel, how much would the two Raptors add past the muzzle?

Nomad Ti XC is 6.74" with direct thread adapter but the threaded part of your barrel goes 0.60" into the can so it should add about 6.14" to the end of your barrel with factory direct thread adapter.

I'm not sure how AB specs their cans but my understanding is the reflex doesn't impact the length in front of barrel. There may be minor impacts like there is in any can based on which hub adapter is in use but I'd bet the 6.3" long raptor 8 ends up real close to where the nomad ti XC is when it comes to length in front of barrel if not a little shorter.

Good question though.. how much does flush adapter or reflex adaptor on raptors contribute to length in front of barrel vs the specs listed here? Can one basically just assume a raptor 8 extends 6.3" from the shoulder of muzzle threads with flush mount AND reflex or is there more to it than that?

Here in this vid from AB they show the 8 stack with I believe the 2" reflex. Around the 4:30 min mark he measures the length on a gun. Wondering if the amount of "relief" from the reflex is the same across the board or if the longer ones provide more of a bump
