Silencerco Scythe TI review

Did you pick that up to reduce the pressure hitting the start of the can, thus theoretically making it less likely to fail?
Not sure there is enough difference.

Given I will use the Scythe as a dedicated 223 can at this point, and my 223 is threaded 1/2-28 I figured dropping the adapter would reduce complexity and save a few grams with perhaps a slight change in dB and pressure.

I'm pretty sure none of those are adequate reasons, but at the price I couldn't help myself and had to backfill the why to deny my lack of self control.
 
Also, let's face it, the Scythe is basically a Barbie for men, change the hair style (end cap), change the shoes (flush mount), dress it up (cover).

And considering our rifles are too, it is like putting Barbie in her Barbie Jeep. At least we are interested in titanium barbie accessories
