My dad used my 6.5 CM with 140 eldm to take a Muley at 30 yds max. Worked great. In one side and out the other.Anyone with experience with the ELDM on an animal below 100 yards?

An 88 ELD-X would be moneyELDMs kill very well. I personally prefer the consistency of the ELDXs in generating killing shaped wound channels, especially the smaller in diameter you go.
I shot 2 antelope with a 22 creed this year. One at 162 and another at 620, both with the 80 eldm. That would be the route I would go.If I could hijack a bit....
I intend to shoot factory ammo in a 22 Creed on deer and antelope. Max 300 yards
Thoughts on ELD-M vs ELD-X from Hornady
I would give them a try for sure!An 88 ELD-X would be money
60-70yard running shot. 88grain eldm bout 3100fps impact. Dead right nowAnyone with experience with the ELDM on an animal below 100 yards?
What about the Ms is your preference over the X? I’ve used both, starting to lean toward the Ms myself, curious on your reasoning.Personally - 6.5 PRC, 300 Norma, 6 creed
147’s - 1 bull, 3 cows, 5 antelope, 1 oryx some deer
225’s - 2 bulls, 1 bull moose, couple bucks, multiple cow elk
108’s - 2 bucks, multiple antelope
I’ve observed 10 times over with other shooters that it seems with ELDM’s. They flat work and I would choose them over the X every time.
They’re just lethal.
