Serious question, is there any hunting in Florida?
Went to Key West and really enjoyed it. Don't think I could afford to live there.
deer, hogs, turkey, iguana, gator, ducks etc. all depends on where you go. in the keys? nothing, but the fishing makes up for that.

When i worked for a regional convenience store chain 20 years ago, the guy that drew the short stick had to service the POS systems and fuel controllers at all our stores in ND and eastern MT. I drew that stick one time, and I94 is a soul-sucking wasteland. I swear that road doesn't veer more than a couple degrees north or south for hundreds and hundreds of miles. Monotony with a giant capital M. Granted this was before the oil boom, maybe its better now.
I80 West from SLC to Wendover is the most brutal stretch of road I have ever driven. There is nothing to see and the ******* thing doesnt have a turn in it for ages.

Explain your position? To me the barren landscape doesn’t suggest anything fun to do.
Going to go to bat for my brothers to the north. With in 15 minutes of my house I can and have shot a mule deer catch a limit of walleyes and for the night cap mallards and honkers with a side of pheasant. I have friends in nodak who have done the same thing. Chance to hunt antelope every year and if lucky elk, mountain goat and big horn sheep. Being so barren you would think I would have enough time to do everything but I don’t.

Big Cabin Oklahoma to the Texas state line or at least Durant. I think 69 highway was built bad to start with and has gotten worse. You can't afford to get bored or you might break an axle. Every semi headed to Dallas is using that road making sure what good pavement is left won't be there a year from now. Need a clean restroom for your honey? Better hope she can hold it. At least the signage in the towns along the way will keep you amused.

But you do get to gawk at the dumb SOB’s who drove off the highway and sunk their vehicles to the frame in the muck.

But yeah, that drive makes me think of the Road Warrior movies.

I am a firm believer that 50% of those people fell asleep and the other 50% did it in an attempt to end their lives so they didnt have to drive another foot on that road.

Wyoming. Blizzards September thru may. Roads closed every where. Hot and windy the rest of the time. Bad restaurants that specialize in serving Meth. No good jobs and real estate is sky high for cactus and greasewood.

20%/80%

Last time I was out there I saw a couple of cars that clearly drove off the highway toward other cars that were parked out on the flats and sunk in deep half way there. Vehicle quick sand.

Clearly I haven’t driven as much as some of you guys but for me it’s Nebraska. Definitely worse than Kansas, approximately 3/4 of the state reeks of cow farts.

Close 2nd goes to Ohio.

If someone told me they wanted to spend a year hunting/trapping and they wanted to kill the most animals possible in that year, I’d send them to ND. Especially if they were working full time with a family and had extremely limited time.

Add in probably 3 of the top ten walleye/perch/pike systems in the entire nation.

I wish the readily available hunting and fishing in AK was a third of what it is in ND.
