If it is a standard hub mount it will work. I switched from Xeno to DT for mine. Less weight and for sure less length. But I used the DA DT hub.Has anyone tried a sico titanium direct thread mount on a nomad xc?
I'm wondering if there is any reason why it wouldn't work.
It would be awesome to not add any length to the ti xc and keep it at 6.3".
Yes I know the thread will work, but I was thinking about the depth the muzzle would go into the canyon. Since it is completely flush, it would be at least 1/4" or maybe almost 1/2" further in there compared to the DA direct thread. I wondered that could be a problem. If it is a standard hub mount it will work. I switched from Xeno to DT for mine. Less weight and for sure less length. But I used the DA DT hub.
What dealer is local to you that carries them. I’m in Tn as well2nd can approved in 28 hrs. This is gonna be a problem for me and my marriage. Will buy the XC when it comes back in stock in black or od. Local had the raw/silver and wasn't my speed.
Unless they start blowing up like the scythe, I don't see a reason not to if you're looking for one in that size/weight range. Before I order one, any reason to not, or any better suggestions.
Tennessee Silencer and Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo have had them in stock or can get them quickly if out. What dealer is local to you that carries them. I’m in Tn as well
Thanks. Too far east for me. Was hoping outdoor junction might carry themTennessee Silencer and Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo have had them in stock or can get them quickly if out.
I’d argue almost an inch longer. Flat cap scythe is about 5.8”.Unless they start blowing up like the scythe, I don't see a reason not to if you're looking for one in that size/weight range.
It apparently sounds better than the scythe, is quieter, and can weigh just the same as a scythe and be only about 1/4" longer if you use a diligent defense or rearden DT adapter.
I really like my scythe size and suppression, but wanted to try something different and this fits the bill so I decided to go for it.
I don't know the details on DAs issue with failed cans in the past and reportedly poor CS, but I figured it probably has a better chance of not blowing up since it's 3d printed and I wouldn't be worried too much about a long warranty return since I have a backup
I already have a scythe and figure I’ll get this one before my scythe separates lol. I’ve read that there were horror stories at one time, but also only good things about this can.Unless they start blowing up like the scythe, I don't see a reason not to if you're looking for one in that size/weight range.

The Diligent depth is a bit less, we'll see I guess. What is the best titanium 5/8 DT cap for the ti xc?
Edit: nevermind. I see all the weights going back in the thread.
DD ti 5/8 ~0.9-1oz
Reardan 5/8 supposedly 0.70oz but actual is ~0.9oz
Sico Ti 5/8 ~1oz
I'm a little skeptical on that DD adapter though due to the thread journal length. Shorter than the DA steel adapter
