DA Nomad Ti XC vs. DD Wolf Hunter

I’m mostly sold on a xc lti but I’m a little irritated by the only config being with Xeno that adds weight, length, and cost to the equation not to mention that none of my other rifles are going to have that waste of time, money, weight, and length on them.
I'll trade you a new 5/8 DT hub for the Xeno hub. I wanna put a QD on my wife's Otter Creek for her two guns so she can bounce back and forth more easily.

I was annoyed to pay the extra $ at first for the Xeno setup but then I discovered they are easily sellable for $100+ and I had a bunch of HUB mounts already. So it actually lowered the cost of of the suppressor for me.

7" suppressors don't belong on cases over 80gr powder capacity in my opinion. I haven't put the LTI XC on my Norma mag yet.

The Tbac brake cans might change that. From what I’m seeing with a Magnus K RR I think an S RR would be usable and quiet enough for use on some bigger guns.

Personally I don’t even like anything over a creedmoor with a 7” suppressor.

These cans with integral baffle brakes are not hearing safe in my opinion. I was around some TBAC RR, a419 maverick and a few other this last weekend. Takes away most the concussion, but NOT hearing safe. My Ti XC w/ ebrake was def quieter than the magnus RR that was in the squad.

I don’t think they are hearing safe either. I only have a k rr. I’m curious to hear the S or full size. I know it’s not right but I’d shoot the K RR without ear pro for a few shots… it’s not bare muzzle loud but I wouldn’t call it normal brake noise, that’s after shooting it bunch on a 3006. Recoil reduction is very good on that rifle.

I’m real curious on what the full size RR sounds like on a decent size case.

Which direct thread hub are you looking to move?
I have a 5/8x24 Dead Air hub. I bought it for the wife's can because her two rifles are 1/2 and 5/8 but after the fact I think I'm better off with the Xeno system for her than switching out hubs all the time. Looks like it's the LT302. Her Otter Creek came with a 1/2x28 DT hub, probably not gonna need that either if I do the Xeno.

PM me. I would consider switching a Xeno for the 5/8x24 DT hub for the right arrangement. I have a Lazarus 6 and a Nomad Ti Xc.

Are you looking for the break/flash hider and Xeno?

I can agree with this statement.

A 7in suppressor with brake end cap, recoils about like a bare 9" can on a saum or smaller cartridge, step up to the big boys like a Norma or Rum yeah you need a 9" can, or better yet some the 338 cans on market.

Diameter helps, a 1.5" 7" can VS a 1.75" can at 7" makes a difference. I've got 8 cans now from 4 makes, 6" - 9" in length, 1.5-1.75" OD, some with brake end caps. They all feel a bit different. I am really liking the dead air XC line with the ebrake. Not much louder and noticeably less recoil. I'm still waiting for a few Abel theorem suppressors that supposedly have less recoil signature VS others. Their baffle profile gives less recoil pulse in testing, we will see.......
I just got an Abel theorem 7" and I was surprised at the super soft recoil and zero POI shift from the 4 port brake I was using (Precision Armament Hypertap). Good noise suppression and you can find them without much wait time if any.

Still waiting for atf to let my theorem and TheoremS out of jail! They are known for their recoil mitigation. Their brake end cap is gonna be that much better! Which has been in testing/production for too long it seems, but should be available very soon. I like the flow through cap they also sell for gas gun options.

Took me less than 2 business days to get the stamp on my theorem. Looking forward to the RR end caps but honestly on my 6.5 creed I'm not even sure it's necessary. No problem spotting impacts so far. The dude on my firing line last weekend said it is super quiet too. He has a TB Dominus on his .223 and it was way louder.
