I got a Megatarp and waiting for a Tut ,Bivy and tarp. The Megatarp looks great.
Thanks. You know you need one, it's only a matter of time until you break downLooks awesome brother
Here's some size reference pics of the large mid
Thanks.man it is solid work here, everything looks straight and clean(except the guy in the shelter,LOL just kidding). Now we need pictures or video with stove in action, bring the kids they love playing outside and put sticks in the stove, mine have 18 months and she is already gattering woods for daddy.
It's 86" to the peak when it's tight to the ground so 96" pipe would probably be good, maybe less if you take the height of the stove into consideration. What length pipe you think you'd need with this?
My current Tut is running an 84" pipe. I'm thinking with the extra height of the "improved Tut" it would need a 96".
I'm 5'11"Your stuff looks pretty darn good. Gotta love the pictures in the kids bedroom with all the toys. I remember those days. Anyways, just for reference, how tall are you?
Also, sent you a PM for some prices.

The one in the picture is 2lbs 5oz after seam sealing with guy lines, I think. The carbon pole from seek outside that will work with it has a claimed weight of 13 oz but you may use whatever pole you wish and I don't have one in hand to verify. My stakes weighed 6.5 oz for 16, but there are lighter options you may use. What is the total weight of the (oversized tut) shelter you have pictures with the kids in? Tent, pole, steaks, lines?
I just updated pricing on the initial postHow much are you selling your mid shelter for?
