Maybe this was stated already.

But word on the street is the antis are gonna try to get hound hunting banned. They are trying thru legislation. In January sportsmen need to have a big showing of protest and we need to testify against that. So it gets shut down.
I could see it a bunch that tried the cat ban are still in power in the legislature. Some of them judy amabile have zero repercussions for bring up stupid stuff, if they do we will beat the war drum once again…

This is entirely possible. They attempted it in 2022 and lost in embarrassing fashion. Never made it out of committee. All but one sponsor dropped it. However, 127 Proponents (CATS) claim they have a public mandate despite losing by more than 10 points. They showed up in force during the last CPW Commission meeting. They are not going to stop. They have full time paid employees (Samantha Miller and Julie Marshall) and this is their only job. We must stay engaged. I am confident they are going to bring a citizen petition to the CPW commission to ban hound hunting in the very near future. We have to be prepared to fight this. They already have three Commissioners who publicly supported Prop 127. In a 11 person commission they only need three more votes.

Sportsmans Alliance and SCI suing CPW commissioners regarding op-ed on proposition 127.

Wow. So in addition to violating CPW Commission policy, failing to meet commission statutory requirements, and lying in testimony to the Senate Natural Resources committee……Beaulieu and Murphy also violated the law.

Yep, par for the course for antis! I hope they really regret it all and the public sees what is happening. It would be to the benefit of CRWM and the other orgs to publicize the hell out of this suit.

Every Colorado hunter should email their Senators and demand the Colorado State Senate hold these Commissioners accountable. State Senate confirmed them. Cut and paste from the article and past posts. The Senate and/or Natural Resources Committee need to hold a hearing on this misconduct by these commissioners.
