I don't live in CO and will likely never hunt mountain lion but, I had to donate some money to this cause when I learned of it. The overreach and plotting by animal "rights" activists and, really unfortunately, by some CO politicians is very, very disturbing. This will need to be fought every year and I'm sure new tactics will be used to try and push it through. This win proves we as hunters can ban together and have a real voice. It's not over.
thanks for donating! It all helped win this

Glad it was defeated. How we need to get something on the ballot that eliminates the public from Voting on things like that
I think AZ had one… looks like it failed, but it basically said it required consensus from all counties to pass things not just majority rule from the population zones

A message and thank you promo code from the GoHunt guys:

Hey everyone–

We are excited to see that Proposition 127 has been voted down in Colorado, preserving predator hunting and supporting science-backed wildlife management policies. The GOHUNT team wants to extend a big "THANK YOU" to Dan Gates, CRWM, Howl for Wildlife, and every one of you who rallied to defeat this ballot measure.

Most importantly, THANK YOU the the Colorado residents. Your work has protected hunting in your home state, and set an example for the residents and hunters in other states.

When it comes to wildlife conservation, we are fired up to celebrate this 11% victory margin by making everything in the gear shop 11% off for the next 24 hours! Apply code PROP127 at checkout to save 11% sitewide (excludes sale items).

Thank you,

Lorenzo and the GOHUNT Team

Pretty sure Lorenzo donated a not-insignificant amount to CRWM, matching a donation from the company with his own $$ or something like that. Trail and Brady went in-person to the rally in Denver...feel like they went above and beyond. Respect.

I am super stoked on this for people of Colorado. I am not a Colorado resident and I have never hunted there and I donated. It's encouraging to see that these things can be defeated.

I am calling it right now that we will see this in Washington or Oregon next.

We will need your help then.
we'll be there.

thanks for helping out on this one.

Yeah you can have an opinion on the "gohunt effect" or whatever. But those guys really earned my respect and have a customer for life from me.

They have even commented on some of the issues we have going on in Washington.

Yep, I remember this post from earlier this year about WA cougar season setting and the petition that anti's put forth. They also have the membership deal with HOWL.

Seems like they're being more intentional about spreading info and resources for hunting issues across all western states on multiple platforms.

Been mulling over options for a ball head for coyote hunting, picked up a k-10x from them on the promo code.

Likewise. Lorenzo and the guys are great down-to-earth dudes who are passionate about these issues and willing to put their money where their mouthes are!

We will be there, got your back. I think this was a big moment for the hunting community. Got to talk with the GoHunt guys at the Capitol after the “No to 127” rally, earned my respect. They put in a lot on this effort.

I’m not in love with all their stuff they put out ( the social media stuff) but I will 100% buy stuff from them after this, very impressed with how they handled it. Glad meatbeater highlighted it a bunch too. Credit earned where credit due
