The 70’s it was the earth is cooling we’re all gonna freeze to death, 80’s and 90’s it was a hole in the ozone and the sun is going to fry us all, 90’s and 00’s it was global warming is going to melt all the ice and drowned us all, 10’s it is now climate change is the end of the world… it’s all hogwash. People trying to scam others for money and power.

Wouldnt say it's all hogwash. You cant cut all the trees down and pour as much concrete as we have and not heat the place up.

Just like you can’t cut all the trees down and put down solar panels everywhere. Should we clean up after ourselves, not just dump hazardous materials wherever, and be good stewards of the land? YES, but to sit and say man has made the climate change is an outright lie. The earth has had periods where it was much hotter and much colder, it’s been heating and cooling long before combustible engines, black tops, and concrete.

Weather is cyclical, just like climate. In the 80’s there was several big snows and ice storms. Further back than that I don’t know as I’ve never looked into it that much and don’t need to. Sensationalism in the media made the last couple out to be the worst ever, each one worse than the last. No different than it being 100 degrees today and everyone freaking out. It’s 100* every summer June-September but they would have you believe it hasn’t been that hot ever.

We only have day to day recorded weather of a little over 100 years but have geological evidence of climate being completely different than what it’s been over the last couple hundred years.

Climate change is always happening. That's not the problem. Idiots in power are the problem. Every single issue we have in the world today seems to stem from a direct rebellion against God and His Word. For people who claim to not believe in God, or just don't care about their own eternities, they sure pick and choose their idiocies based on exact denials of His Word.

God created the universe and all that is in it.........so they deny creationism.
God created them male and female........so they have to deny that, tell kids they can choose their own gender for themselves, and even create their own made up idiocy on the subject.
God controls the climate..........so they have to deny that, and come up with some hogwash about us being able to somehow control it.
God gave us meat to eat, so they have to deny that and promote fake meat, and veggies only.
God called homosexuality an abomination, so these people rejoice in that and celebrate it.
God gave us moral standards, so the world denies that and revels in immorality.
God said to love thy neighbor, so now they rejoice in destroying thy neighbor, and stealing his possessions.
God said "if you don't work, you don't eat", so these people deny that and provide free money and goods for those that refuse to work.

The list goes on and on. But you'd think that they could come up with something on their own for once that isn't in direct contradiction to God's Word.

A few guys have nailed it already. Every time the data and projections about environmental doomsday don’t come true the wackos have to re-brand. “Global Cooling”, “Global Warming”, “Climate Change”…. As long as they get to fly around in their fancy private jets that spew more CO2 per capita than a commercial jet and are funded by carbon offsets and other guilty conscience exploitations they’ll be happy wagging the dog.

All you have to do is check the soil temp of a plowed field vs. one with a good thatch layer or covered with living plants. How many million acres of ground lay multiple months with no soil cover. It just gets compounded when covered with concrete or asphalt. Conventional farming practices and ever expanding development is the biggest problem imo and while yes there are climate cycles I expect they will continue to move higher in temp because we have and continue to destroy the regulatory function of nature.

I won't get too mixed up in the issues of dumb political leaders on all sides.

But I will say having solar has saved me around $8,000 annually. And I can run my AC as low as it can handle.

I think putting solar on homes is a great idea, just not mandated by the government. The tax breaks would be good enough for me.

Being seen as "green" by other people is just virtue signaling by most so they are cool and accepted.

While I do think what your saying has some merit, destroying nature to cover it with concrete or asphalt isn‘t great for the environment in any shape or form, the biggest driver of earth‘s climate is the sun and has nothing to do with things we can control here on earth. It’s what causes our cyclical weather and climates.

I am just evaluating the situation from the other direction. People dont put a nalgene of cold water in their sleeping bag they put one full of hot water because the radiant heat will keep the bag warm for a while. The more we remove or destroy the thermoregulating features of the planet, nevermind adding heating components to it, the higher our avg temp will go over time. Not disagreeing with your point about the sun at all. We do have the ability to have control over a good bit of the issues but it will take making some hard logical decisions and time to implement. Problem is politicians seldom do anything that makes long term sense and people in general just suck, they want what they want right now and could not care less about the impacts of those decisions for the future.

That was my point. It should mean nothing to them too........but they just keep attacking all the standards and attributes that were already written and set out 2+ millennia ago. It's as if they're just going down the list, page by page in the Bible on what to deny, attack, or set their opposite policies to next. For something they don't believe in, or means nothing to them......they sure seem to stick to it....LOL.
