I found out that a failed firearms background check is cause for revocation of Global Entry and the agencies coordinated that within 24 hours. Of course, they don’t coordinate reinstatement even though the challenge was upheld so I have not been able to get CBP to act at all.

So how do you go about getting your GE reinstated?

There is a felon out there with same name and birthdate as me. So unfortunately when I purchase guns they get denied and I have to do an appeal with cbi to prove I’m not the bad guy

Might be worth a couple more steps before paying an atty $$$$ to fix


IME - as an FFL - a SSN or other ID that is specific to your name and person would help clear up any issue. Was one provided on the 4473?
