Yes sir. Reading pages of people comparing the BLM riots with today's events just reaffirms how very skewed a perspective many have. Those people today were trying to undermine our government - our democracy, very different from people trying to advance racial equality. Both were regrettable chapters in our nation's history, but only one approaches treason.

Tell that to the people who had their businesses destroyed and buildings burned. Tell me how one advances racial equality by burning, looting, destroying?

What happened today was almost done just for fun. No business were lost, nothing burned, I dont think anyone was even hurt. And arent those dirt bags already back in session voting thru the electoral process?

Treason is our own politicians sailing the american ppl down the river while they line their own pockets. Our democracy has been undermined for a long time.

Wow, where do you live?

I grew up in Portland, moved away years ago but I still have family back there. One is a sergeant with Portland PD and the other is a detective. If you think what happened this summer was all about racial equality you are so mistaken. It might have been about that for the first few days but after months of it, well, there are many in the PPD that would strongly disagree with you.

Some was about racial equality, some about simple anarchy, and some about plain old chaos.....all of it in cities that are decidedly blue. Did any of those leaders do anything about it? NO. Matter of fact, in Portland, it was without a shadow of a doubt encouraged by the governor and mayor....this comes straight from my family who had orders to not do anything and a DA who publicly said he wouldn't prosecute offenders. Then magically, a few days after the election the rioters mostly stopped and our leaders started to get "tough".

If you don't think a portion of the riots this summer were motivated to help move the election, well, I guess you don't think there is any media bias as well.

I haven't even seen proof of rampant voter fraud, let alone proof of enough specific instances to suggest it would have turned the tides of the election.

It seems more to me Trump said there was massive voter fraud and a subset of his tribe decided it was true without question.

Some bought into that so deeply they stormed the capital.

I agree and I say that as somebody who is absolutely terrified of a Joe Biden presidency. The only fraud that has been proven was done by low level shit tier poll workers and many of them have been tried and sentenced in federal court for tampering but none of it was enough to turn the outcome of the election.

Nobody was hurt except for the person who got shot in the face and died. That probably didn’t really hurt though, the cns probably snapped down almost immediately.

You mean treason for the liberal politicians who not only turned a blind eye to the rioting/looting, but in many cases enabled it? I agree. They should all be hanged.
Why lock this thread? Because words like this are dangerous. Hang your fellow Americans because you dont agree with them? Thats as un-American as it gets.

Rokslide has done a great job of NOT turning into an insurrection forum; lets keep it that way.

I saw this coming with the initial Covid lockdowns. This all boils down to human psychology.
You can’t strip people of their freedom and expect people to not start rioting about something. People have become more polarized, irritable, and disgusted through isolation/quarantine. And social media is not real communication. It just feeds into everyone’s own narcissism.
It is very sad but this is what the “new normal” is gonna be. A virus is going to look pretty pathetic compared to all out civil wars.
What all of us are seriously lacking is compassion. Violence begets violence. I pray for a day that people with opposing views will go out of their way to understand each other. My children won’t get to see that.

My apologies as I wasnt aware of that. I was busy working while ppl were breaking into the building, same as when all other idiots were protesting earlier. I wont hear about all of it, as there is no way I turn on any news channels or msn.

Breaching the Capital is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

It’s not as bad as destroying the business and property of individual citizens who never harmed you. How about blocking freeways and streets so people who need to support themselves can’t get to work? Is that acceptable???

To me, those are hints are far worse than whatever happens to the capital building.

The level of charges that can come down on the rioters are substantial. It also opens the door to a quick impeachment which bars a person from holding public office of any kind in the future. Not sure this was clearly thought out.

I hope this makes them think about what could happen If they try and step on our second amendment ! Our government is in shambles, and the rest of the world knows we are weak, and getting weaker. Our government needs a total makeover ! This is asinine that these two cockroaches are the best we can come up with ! Lord help us, we need you !

What degree of election fraud is acceptable?
Enough to change an election. Example Nixon Kennedy Election 1960. Nixon did the right thing and bowed out. Election fraud is is sometimes an issue in close elections for Republicans. Rampant fraud needs to be strongly proven to a judge who should be extremely cautious. It hasn't been proven in this election, maybe it will.

Oh, I don't know, when elected officials openly encourage property damage, violence, and looting against American citizens- I have a problem with it. And the problem I have with it is bigger than a thread lock on a website. YMMV

Did you know that an openly socialist city council member in Seattle unlocked the doors to City Hall to allow protesters in? Hmmm- lot of outrage today over pretty much the same thing...
That same council member lead a mob to the Mayor of Seattle's home to protest. Not even sure what they were protesting her for because she was the one who allowed them to physically take over six square blocks of downtown. Do you think those people who live and work and own businesses inside those six blocks really cared if a thread got locked? Do you think maybe one or two of them would have liked to see the Constitution put to use and see a couple elected officials pay for their crimes?

If trump lost by 5-10 votes in several states, or hell even 100-200 votes, I'd be storming the capital too demanding an investigation, but he lost by 10s of thousands, to hundreds of thousands in GA, WI, MI, PA. WTF people? Fraud yes. For example 2 dead people voted in GA, but hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes f%$& no! Trump should start his own news network. I'm sure there would be high demand. Its insane to think I'm in the minority on Rokslide on this but I'm sure I am.

Just think of waking up tomorrow to news that Trump is reelected. Forget riots we'd have a civil war. 2020 would be a cakewalk.

ALL are bad. To me, an Extremely Patriotic American, the Capital is the seat and symbol of our government, it's an attack on every single citizen, versus one or many individuals being attacked. It's like an act of war. Violence in all forms is unacceptable, period.
