It could have been, coincidentally, a digestion issue (in need of a full purge via fasting and some psyllium husk).

Does anyone know of a chlorine solution that one can use on a 14-day or so trip to eliminate the need to mix, thus saving time and effort. I remember this stuff, vaguely, from chemistry class and would like to just take some all ready to use. I did mix mine double strength because I am an American male and if 2 is good, 4 is twice as good way-of-thinking.

i just use the iodine tablets.last September i was drinking out of a pool that had frogs living in it.granted it was running water but there was still a bunch of frogs in there.couple iodine tablets,let it sit for about 5 min and i didnt have any issues at all.never have,knock on wood..

Katydyn has chlorine tablets with no mix needed. 1 tablet to 1liter ratio.
