How are the groups with the TAP? I’ve never been able to get them (in factory loads, I don’t reload) to group very well.
I believe it was @wind gypsy that got them shooting pretty well in his set up as well as a few others. If I’m not mistaken a few have got them to shoot 1/2-3/4moa groups. Best I could do with too slow of a twist was 1.2-1.4moa at 100.

They do alright...this is a 1.2 MOA rifle in a 10+ shot group. This particular rifle isn't a "shooter" but it'll do well for my needs at killing deer. I think I'm going to drop down to a lighter bullet and save the tougher 106s for a 6GT or 6CM

1.2 moa ain’t bad for a ‘police’ bullet. In my rifles, they do around 1.75-2.25 moa, and the -X, -M and Black all are moa or better.

I guess it’s like the Federal 223T3 FBI loads, the bullets are designed for terminal performance not match-grade groups.

I've been meaning to try some 9, 103, or 108s out of sheer curiosity to see if there's a bit of room for accuracy improvement. Having about 1200 of these 106s that Midway had on sale last winter makes them the ideal bullet for lots of shooting...very cheap. I considered grabbing a 243 with a 1:8 twist but it seems the places I'm finding the Tikka sales are 1:10.
