The AI version definitely has a little more boiler room but with the QL model Berger used in that load data they're using a pretty shot 3.250 COAL which eats up quite a bit of that case capacity advantage the AI has over the standard so when I run the same 3.250 through a standard 25-06 at the same pressure same barrel length per QL there was less then 50fps difference. Here is the 25-06AI load data provided by Berger for the 133/135 bullets. The barrel was 26” and the AI has more capacity than the standard 25-06.
In a 22in tube with their 135's 3.250 OAL and 59.7gr Magpro which per QL is 59,951psi 2927 fps.
Standard 25-06 same chamber PSI, powder, 135 OAL 3.250, barrel length, 2894 fps.
To your point the long 25-06 maybe isn't the best choice in a Tikka because QL projects a 25-284 with same bullet, same chamber PSI and same 22in barrel it shows 3000fps
