Yes I have 306 pieces. Clayton at WTO thinks 900 to 1000 before the barrel is shot out so I should be able to get 3 reloadings. Its a shame as its a laser. 5.4 mils at 1k yards is sexy. I have thought about tracking down another 300-400 pieces so I could spin another one for safe keeping. I only have 129 on the barrel so far. 133 berger elite hunter at 3297 fps since the eld-m wasnt out when we did load dev 71.9grs Vihtavouri N568. I was able to find enough of the same lot powder for the life of the barrel as well. It shoots that good with just necking down and loading virgin brass. I havent even gotten to shoot fireformed brass yet.
Hell yeah nice stuffFirst of 2024. Custom Remington 700 25-06, 115 Berger VLD hunting over H1000 doing 3050 at the muzzle .I was hunting the edge of a bean field when this fella and two other bucks came out. 195 yd shot, he ran about 30 yds back where had come from and piled up. Pretty typical coastal SC deer.
How did the bullet do?25-06 100gr trophy copper last year. Got this guy at 30 yards. And 2 doe antelope at 300 and 525

The bullet did great on him, and the two antelope i shot with it. Vitals were basically soup. However, I shot a whitetail buck at 10 yards that I'm pretty sure the bullet didn't expand. Found a couple drops of blood at the shot, never found the deer. Even with a dog. The buck in the pic was 15 yards, same broadside shot and he went all of 10 ft. So i feel it was a bullet failure in combination with maybe a high lung shotHow did the bullet do?
I want to test some of these out but at 80$ for a box and shipping I may wait a bit.FYI for anyone looking for some and these appear to be similar or maybe even the same as the Blackjack 131gr bullet although I thought the 131 Blackjack had a "pointed" tip similar to the Berger 135's and these 131 Sierra's don't look to have that. Anyway, Sierra as of now has 100cnt and 500cnt boxes of these in stock if any 25 cal shooters are looking for some.

Most people don't recommend the 110smk or the 150smk due to the extreme pointing. If you opened them up some with a wire bit, would prob aid in expansion. Pretty jacked up of Sierra. That's a near direct clone of the 131 blackjack, which they formerly produced, but then didn't fulfill orders, contributing to the demise of Blackjack. 3 years later they bring the same bullet to market, talk about a slap in the face. I won't use em out of principle. Classis case of big company that's propped up by government contracts, eating up or forcing the lil guys out of business, then taking the marketshare.I want to test some of these out but at 80$ for a box and shipping I may wait a bit.
Very nice. You drill the tip or run them from the box?Just smashed this Wyoming Goat with a 25SS and a 135 Berger. Specs of the rifle were 19.5” 8 twist barrel, 135 at 3020 fps. Shot was 485 yards facing me. One shot and goat traveled 3’ straight down. Everytime I use the 135 I’m more impressed by it

I wish there was more info as to what really took place. There seems to be a lot of speculation. Did the partner take the money then no manufacturing runs could be paid for existing orders? Did sierra withhold production and then partner took money and ran? Those are a couple of the questions I have not seen get answered by someone with first hand knowledge.I was unaware sierra was at fault for not producing the ordered blackjack bullets? Any more insight on how that went down?
I’m not sure that’s accurate. Most people don't recommend the 110smk or the 150smk due to the extreme pointing. If you opened them up some with a wire bit, would prob aid in expansion. Can probably ditch that magazine since she only needs one round! Nice shooting and congrats to the hunter.Check out this cool bull that Michelle shot at 340 yds with the 25 saum and 133 bergers. It stood there for a couple seconds after the shot and fell over dead. Didnt even take a step. Turned the lungs into liquid and blood poured out of his mouth before he fell over. This 25 saum is really racking up the kills and the performance has been phenomenal so far. She has another notched tag with it that Ill post tomorrow. Great shooting Michelle and congratulations.
