Looks like some of the 2025 SG pieces are on Scheel's:

X1 Jacket - ($189) Looks like a lightweight & packable rain jacket.
Headwall Jacket - ($229) Grid fleece. Waterproof, but not seam taped, and windproof. It has pit zips and is advertised as being quiet enough for archery hunting.
Praxis Pant - ($189) Early season pant with hip vents and advertised as being quiet enough for archery hunting.
Halo Sun Hoody - ($75) Seems like a nice sun hoody.

I think these are good additions to their lineup and I'm excited to read some actual reviews from field use!

Looks like they took them down, links worked yesterday. That rain jacket looks interesting at that price point (assuming that was accurate).

Kurt talked about these on the S2H podcast if interested in more info.

Thanks for the heads up! There’s a lot more information on the pieces starting at 24:00 if anyone else is interested.

Sounds like there is also a new pair of gaiters and a redesigned Sky Archer bag.

Rubber rain gear coming in 2026, thats what was eluded to at the end of the podcast. Stone glacier will educate thousands of new outdoorsman why waterproof breathable rain gear exists in the first place. (I joke…kind of)

I dont have any experience with the Jetstream but the Headwall seemed like a very solid soft shell. Id say the outer material is very similar to the DeHaviland but I would guess it to be warmer and more versatile due to the grid fleece lining. Its definitely heavier and less packable than say a Cirque Lite.
The rain gear is awesome and a piece Im definitely going to add. My rain gear sits unused at the bottom of the pack most of the time. This jacket is light enough and packable enough to go unnoticed in your pack until you need it for a passing shower. Ill use it mostly as a wind jacket during glassing sessions and riding in and out on horseback. The brushed material makes it much quieter than say a Dewpoint, it doesnt have that plasticy crinkly feel to it. Take all this for what its worth since its all based on handling inside the store. They are definitely worth a look though

I was suprised to see it on the rack too. I would have thought that SG would have done some sort of release and had it on the website. Im not a marketing guy or business owner so far be it from me to question it, Im stoked about some of the pieces and glad I got to check them out

This happened last year too, Scheels posted up all the newest stuff before SG did, soon they removed it from their website, but they had it in stores on the racks.

I’m trying to understand the purpose of the the stonewall as a shell, if it’s similar to the de havilland but is basically lined on the inside with a helio, what advantage is that compared to having your helio and de havilland seperate?

I didn't design it so I guess I cant tell you the intended purpose. In your example above you would be replacing 2 pieces with one, which could be an advantage for some people.

Just looked at this stuff, so will add my takes.

- headwall is quasi everything. With the untaped laminate it’s very much like a softshell (very soft face) and same cut as DH jacket, but way quieter. The liner is really nice. For colder bow hunting I could see it being good - still the typical trim at the bottom SG fit. Wasn’t super impressed with the garment finish quality at the collar, lots of exposed cut fabric edges seemed like. Not sure if I’d order.

- x1 is badass. Feels more windbreaker than shell, soft hand (it’s still a taped shell but very flexible). Makes it seem as if the double duty wind/rain early season use will be perfect. No brainer order for me.

- sun hoody seems very UL, stretchy, lots of micro holes in the fabric. No brainer order for me.

- praxis pant: it’s thicker than I thought, and the fabric seems kinda bulky at rear pockets, etc. also slightly shiny. Leg zip reminds me of kuiu as far as length. It is certainly quieter, not sure if I’d use a set for archery or not? Stretch was nice. I’d have to try some on to ultimately know.
