Doesn’t get much better than watching your kids find success!!! That’s so cool, congrats to both of you!My daughter killed her first big game critter tonight in the last minutes of the season.
Thanks!, it was crazy it worked out… I wanted to keep shots inside 70yds (shotgun and green hunter) we got within 100yds a few times this week including stalking in this morning, then went and sat in a blind for 7hrs (a lot to ask for a 14yr old girl) one spike, 63 cows, and patience paid off with a 40yd broadside shot. I’m proud of her, she did awesome… he went about 25yds and tipped overDoesn’t get much better than watching your kids find success!!! That’s so cool, congrats to both of you!

I'll go first. This is the first elk I've killed. First day of the season, last light on public land in Montucky with my PSE Mach 34. I'm still on cloud nine after taking this old 6x7 brute as my first elk.

Congrats to her! Awesome bull!Halloween gave my wife a treat.
Opening weekend in Montana was warm for rifle, 2nd Saturday was in the negatives and lot of opportunities no comfortable shots for her. 2nd Sunday it warmed up(15 degrees) and the orange army was out in hoards. We jetted out last night around 3pm. Had 18 bulls by 5:45 feeding on a face. This bull and one other were the last to trickle out of the timber. With a great sneak stalk to close some distance and an awesome shot she took home the bull she wanted from Saturday. Photos of her first elk and another last load 1:25am, home by 3am, in meetings by 7:45am.
Tired, Halloween gave me a trick(last photo).
