Not much in the way of photos but l did kill a couple roosters with my son on Sunday afternoon and my son killed one on a quick hunt Monday morning.

Yep! Where I'm from they're known as the "chicken of the trees". So that qualifies.

And dang. Sounds like we need a small game thread!
There will always be a special place in my heart for squirrel hunting though. It's just plain fun.

Not really a fair deal persay. Kiddo took part in quail forever learn to hunt your pogram. 8 weeks of instruction capped off with a pheasant hunt on a local ranch. Yes, planted birds.

Highlight was my kid getting to hunt over two griffons handled by the great George DeCosta. What a treat as we have a griffon at home and another likely next year.

He went 3 for 3 and the 4 kids total went 11 for 12.
