Vane master pro from last chance archery is the best jig out there by far. I have been using Bitz for 20 years and purchased a vane master last winter and it is far superior to the bitz. Bitz is a great jig and has been the mainstay for years, but the vane master beats it in every way.
A couple friends and I did a comparison between the Swaro EL and the Zeiss Victory a couple months ago. Both were phenomenal. Swaro was a little bit lighter and had better edge to edge clarity. The Zeiss were a little heavier and held a little bit steadier because of the weight. While the...
I'm shooting the Wise Guy and love it, it does have an adjustable trigger. The carter releases mentioned are very nice releases as well. Scott's are pretty bullet proof as well, not quite as refined as the Carters, but well made. I would avoid tru-fire myself, as we have the highest volume of...
Mathews, PSE, and Xpedition. Easton and Black Eagle for arrows. Ron has been stuck on ASAT camo for a long time, but I am looking at bringing in either Kryptek of First Lite. I like the Kryptek line myself, but with as many ASAT fans we have here First Lite might be a better option since the...
I did. I have been working and running the store for Ron for the past two seasons following some family problems he had and needed assistance. He has since decided that can no longer operate the store and meet his other commitments. He will still be a major supporter of the shop as he and I...
I would just like to let you all know that I recently purchased the pro shop I have been managing for years. I take ownership of the shop on July 1st. The shop is Alpine Archery in La Grande, OR. So if you are on your way to the Eagle Caps or Elkhorns stop in and say hello, I would love to...
Draw cycle on the perfexion is almost identical, just shorter because of the increased brace height. Perfexion definitely aims better, but the characteristics of the bow obviously lend itself to that. I have only shot the one the rep brought into the store so far. I will have one in the shop...
For what you are doing, I would choose the EMRII or the AMR. A lot of people like the EMR because of it versatility. My only problem with it, is that I know myself and I would pack more than I would ever need or use. For that reason I would choose the AMR. I personally don't like how wide...
Of the light weight arrows that are out there, their durability is quite good. Still not as durable as something with a thicker wall. With that said, they shoot very well and are incredibly consistent. I highly doubt that you would be disappointed in their performance.
I have been using a Hoog Father for eight years now and have zero complaints. Durable, reliable, and smooth operating! I use the same sight for my target and for my hunting bow. Have the three pin head for the hunting bow and scope attachment for the target bow. Simply unbeatable. MBG makes...
I finally broke down and order my first Kifaru. Ended up ordering a Mountain Warrior with a guide lid and the duplex frame. Always hard to bite the bullet on a sight unseen purchase like this, but after talking with Aron a few times and a number of other people I trust I just had to do it...
