    I went to the Cabelas in Glendale Az this morn. Showed. Up at 4:30. Got my stuff by 5:20 and was out the door in 15 min. You can get out quickly if you are not buying a gun.

    quick question fellas. Sitka gear comparable to Kuiu?

    I recommend trying the clothes on. The Sitka 90% pants fit great on me but the mountain pants just did not fit right. The Kuiu Attack pants fit great and use them the most.

    Bought some merino but not sure if I like it - question.

    I also bought some C4E off camofire. I did not like it. Ok to wear around the town but not for hunting. Also the C4E boxers did not fit well with me. I now have the FL boxers and tops and love them. You can get good insulation depending on the thickness.

    I brought my Dall horns and hide as a carry on. It was a nice 40inch ram and the horns stuck out of my daypack. It would not fit under the seat but the airline staff on Alaska airlines did not hassle me.

    I'm going goat hunting in Alaska in three weeks . I'm using a 300 Ultra mag with 180 remington scirocco . My guide really wants his hunters to use at least a 300 win mag. Goats are tough and you want to put them down before they go off a ledge
