I LOVE my zebralights, they are my go to headlamp. My first older generation is my favorite zebralight, although it is slightly heavier. Nothing beats them for the weight/size and light output of the zebralight. Really a perfect all around light. I want to try out the sc600 and one of the floody headlamps.

It has 3 settings: Red, MediumBright, High Bright - simple and what I need

Built like a tank - Only headlamp I throw around like a lead ball and never breaks. I started treating it like that because of price but I can't brake it.

The button can not get accidentally pressed. It takes a deliborate pushing - hike in 8 miles and figure out a light came on and battery is dead - will set you over the moon. Yes, even if you have extra batteries

Every High dollar light like Black Diamond and Petzl have been replaced because they break. They are cheap - They suck regardless of price

Price !! And I buy the best of the best gear 99% of the time - I am blessed to where I can afford what I want.

It uses AA batteries. I can share with other devices like GPS - I hate AAA

I can go on and on....

Zebra - I have never had a Zebra light break
Zebra - I pack 2 lights - 1 red and 1 white
Zeba - I have had light come on accidentally. It is quite easy on these lights
Zebra - The 2 light s cost me $130 bucks - compare to $19
Zebra - Where they win over all - if you need the LUMENS for tracking animal. They trump all things in this one items.

I hope this helps people with their decision. I am considering selling mine realizing I will give up the Lumens if ever needed.

These are just my opinion based on a lot of hunting. Others will have theirs..

I have had it 5 years and still going strong. - have no idea if the model numbers have changed. I bought it at Home Depot. They are hanging right up front by the cash registers and batteries. I bought it for using in my Attic and now it doesn't leave my hunting pack.

Love my zebra H52. I hate having a bunch of different batteries and it takes a AA. I pack a couple extra Li batteries and it's good for weeks. Plenty of light to bone out a elk in the dark or bush wack through scrub oak.

Lol, I have the same Energizer light and I bought it for the same reason. I rewired a bathroom and my kitchen from my attic with it. I'm glad I'm not the only one that likes it. It was literally hanging up front by the cashier register.

Don't want to sway the topic but I recently switched from a Zebra H52 to the Fenix HL60R headlight also a 18650 batter. But it has the ability to plug and charge the battery right in the headlamp itself. Really enjoying the Fenix. Still have my Flood H52 and it will always be with me.

I'm sure it makes it a little more susceptable, but so far no issues for me. I suppose a zip lock would help here if need be.

There's an o-ring that still provides a seal when the cap is unscrewed a bit. On my H52w there's at least a full turn, maybe more, before the o-ring no longer engages.

I'm loving my zebra. 52F IIRC. I'm using it for highway night work engineering. Reading plan sheets is easy. Not all blown out. I got the AA model.

starting researching the hl60r after reading this. really think that may be the light for me. my issue with the zebralights is how specialized each one is. in order to cover all of my needs i would have to carry three of them around.

Its a great light, little on the heavy side at 6 ounces but most of your 18650 lights will be around that range. Its comfortable and lots of setting options. Don't get me wrong the zebra lights are awesome I love mine and won't ever give it up but for a good spotter from my dome it lights up the night nicely.
