Zebra light

If anyone has ordered direct from Zebralight, can you relay your experiences?

I ordered 2 weeks ago on the 14th, the payment posted on the 18th, and I have no light. I emailed a couple of days ago with no response.

I'm not going to freak out if I don't have my light immediately, but I was curious if this was pretty standard for their company.

I ordered a headlamp directly from them a few weeks back. I ordered it on a Friday, and when I hadn't received a shipping notice from them by the following Friday, I sent them a message asking for a status update. About an hour later, I magically received a shipping notice. I thought that was pretty strange, but a few days later I had my light, and I'm happy with it.

My turnaround this winter was pretty quick on the Zebralight from the manufacturer. I just checked and I have already deleted the emails, but I remember it was quicker than I thought...quick enough that I didn't have time to hide it from the wife when it arrived! :o

For in the pack, I triple fold a small square of electrical tape and place it between the cap and the battery so the contacts can't touch. Even if switched on accidentally, there's no circuit to drain the battery. I do that for all my flashlights actually. Any type of small non-conductive material will work.

I just received the magic shipping notice, with no response to the inquiry. It sounds like their products are better than their customer service and shipping department.

I have an H52w or something similar. I like it ok. A bit overrated I would say and over priced. Not trying to trash them. Just saying m y experience is they are not sliced bread.

The model is fine. My comment is about Zebra lights in general. Lots of other choices in various price ranges. The Z lights are not heads shoulders above many of them imho. Thanks.

Here you go. I keep this one in my toolbox.

Those things are indestructible. I've used one for 6 years with no issues

Don't want to sway the topic but I recently switched from a Zebra H52 to the Fenix HL60R headlight also a 18650 batter. But it has the ability to plug and charge the battery right in the headlamp itself. Really enjoying the Fenix. Still have my Flood H52 and it will always be with me.

Just received mine and like it a lot, snagged it off ebay for $63 from China. The only negative thing is the size compared to my ZebraLight, not sure if it will be going in my pack yet?

Yeah it's a larger light but any light that takes a 18650 battery is going to be larger. Definitely going in mine this year.
