What makes you choose the energizer light vs everything else?I wish I loved them as much as everyone else. I find myself using a $19 Energizer light over anything I else I own which includes a pile of high dollar lights.
Well Jeff, now I'm curious about your Energizer, can you give us a model number, picture, where you purchased it, etc.?
I have had it 5 years and still going strong. - have no idea if the model numbers have changed. I bought it at Home Depot. They are hanging right up front by the cash registers and batteries. I bought it for using in my Attic and now it doesn't leave my hunting pack.
If you slightly unscrew the cap, does it become water/moisture permeable? I'm considering trying one of these lamps. If you shut off the zebra by unscrewing the battery cap a little it won't turn on accidently on the hike in/out while in your pack.

Don't want to sway the topic but I recently switched from a Zebra H52 to the Fenix HL60R headlight also a 18650 batter. But it has the ability to plug and charge the battery right in the headlamp itself. Really enjoying the Fenix. Still have my Flood H52 and it will always be with me.

starting researching the hl60r after reading this. really think that may be the light for me. my issue with the zebralights is how specialized each one is. in order to cover all of my needs i would have to carry three of them around.
