For short range whitetail the 7.62x39 is my favorite. Mine is in a Ruger American Ranch. Hopefully for should be an able to track down a new stock for you CZ.
You would think! There are literally no options. CZ doesn’t have them in stock anymore and none of the aftermarket’s are specific to the 527M Carbine model. Apparently you can modify the 527 American stocks, but I haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet.

I shot my first deer when I was in college on a hunt with one of my roommates. The only rifle that I owned at that time was a single shot Remington bolt action .22 LR, so I borrowed a Win 94 in .32 Win Spl from my roommate and shot a spike mulie buck.

I didn't shoot my first whitetail until 10 years later when I moved to Montana and shot a little 3x3 or 4x4 buck with my .30-06.

I shot my first whitetail in the mid 90's with my dad's Ruger m77 tang safety 243. While I was in college I bought a Ruger m77 tang safety 30-06 and used that for years.

My boys shot their first whitetails with a Marlin 1895 in 357. That gun has very little recoil and does a nice job on deer inside 150 yrds.

Wish I would have kept the 44 and just bought a tripple4...

First I ever hunted with was a Remington 742 in 30-06. It had the mandatory 3x9 in see through rings.

First I ever bought was a Ruger in 270. It ended up in a B&C stock and with a Timney before it shot well enough for me to be satisfied.

My first gun was a Remington 710 chambered in .270. It was an awful gun that felt like the bolt was made for a different gun and shoved into this one.

My first was a Winchester M94 bought with S&H green stamps. The first i got with my own money was a Ruger 77r, tang safety 7mm mag. I was 17 at the time. Loved that rifle, should have never traded it! It did get traded for a beautiful Ruger No.1 in 6mm. Should have kept that one also. I don't trade any now, just buy more!

Remington Model 600 Centennial chambered in 6mm Remington and made in 1964. 75th anniversary of Statehood and 100th or the Montana Territorial Centennial. I believe 1030 were made. Got it when I turned 12 in 1972. It killed a lot of deer and antelope over the years and my son took his first antelope with it also. Still wears the K4 Weaver scope we put on it day 1. My dad purchased it for $99.00 (new) in a small store in Nye Montana about 1968.
Here is me on the left with the rifle with an antelope buck I shot. No hat one. You can see the medallion in the stock.

Here's my son with his first and second antelope.

My grandpa had a rem 700 in 6mm Remington. My cousin now has it. I got all grandpas reloading stuff and I found out he really liked the spicy loads. The rifle has quite a bit of bark.

First deer gun? Kmart single shot 16ga with a permanent full choke. Had that for a couple of years before Christmas revealed a Remington 870.

First deer rifle? Browning X-bolt in 270 Win. Love that rifle, great weight and shoots well.

First couple bucks fell to my Great Grandfather’s 760 in .244. My Grandfather bought it for him for Christmas the year the .244 debuted. I borrowed it and he was thrilled to death that I got to use it on a couple deer. No deer around here to speak of back when he was still hunting so he’d only shot coyotes, geese, and other varmints with it. And yes, when you’re 94 years old and past your days of laying in a decoy spread but have thousands of geese landing in your field by the house you shoot them with a rifle from the porch. 😁

When I was 11 Remington brought out the .260 and my Dad bought me a brand new M7 as an early Christmas present, $405 worth. I used it with irons the first year and stuck a handmedown M8 4X Leupold on it the next year. Shot a bunch of deer with it including what was my biggest mulie for over 20 years. Outgrew the youth stock on it and sold it to a cousin to fund a 30/06 purchase.

Unbeknownst to me my Dad bought the 260 back last fall and stashed it in his safe. He gave it to my son a couple weeks ago for his 9th birthday. He used it this evening to kill a big gray doe on the last evening of youth rifle season. Made a perfect shot, it still works and it’s pretty cool to have it back in the fold.
