That’s why WY holds your money for 4 months. You don’t think they’re smart enough to have 2 notification processes, any quicker, do you?

No they don't, this year was an anomaly in that some info got posted before it was supposed to. Outfitters don't get results sooner than the rest of us.

I drew an archery bull tag in a lesser unit with zero points. I almost forgot to check until I saw this post as it has been several months. However, I just had a knee replacement surgery so I may have to turn the tag in (surgery not scheduled or contemplated when I put in.) Either way, it was really nice to see the word "Successful" for the first time in many years.

I'm delaying my partial knee replacement until after hunting season. Local whitetails shouldn't be a problem but I plan on being very selective on shooting location for my cow elk hunt. I may be sitting water holes that have been productive in the past for a little longer stretches. I also have some ambush spots leading to the water that should work.

Awesome. Mine was dislocating a few times a week after many years of abuse (and several prior surgeries). The replacement is brutal on the front end, but I am now 6 weeks out and my knee is literally 5x more stable. Hopefully the rehab gets me ready for the season. But, I really don't care about killing a bull anywhere near as much as I used to. If I am able to have a good experience just being out there again, thats a win. Best of luck to you this season.
