Yea the drop tests suffer from low sample size, except in the case where your evaluation logic is “no single failure”.

I used to think it looked like a chore to be taking glasses on and off ... and then my eyes shifted in a matter of months and had more empathy.

I've seen different people try various methods - fully taking them on and off is a lot of excess movement. Putting them on top of your head can get in the way of earpro (and make the inside of the lens funky from sweat, sunscreen, hair oil, etc). I've found it works to just bump them down my nose to shoot, and then pull them back up. Can be done with the firing hand at the end of a shot sequence in under a second.

Get a pair of these and have your prescription put in them. I have a pair of their 1.25x readers for close work in the field and a pair of their goggles that are perfect for cross-country skiing in mild weather.

Maybe one of these would help you old fellas out.

I can see the turret numbers and bubble level well enough without readers. Fine detail not so much, so reducing the clutter is attractive.

I dont understand the request? Like have no markings at all other than at half and whole mils?

I think they're similar to what Jacob Bynum uses. Watching him navigate them, it looks like it takes more time to get them back on your face than just bumping glasses down your nose.

Look you have lots of valuable experience and I’ve taken it into account and adjusted some of the products I use because of it.

But I just think it pathetic how most of the members on here adore you like a like you’re the only one that’s ever done anything of value and you’re the only one that has anything to offer.

Probably so, but I was dropping and scratching 5-8 pairs of readers per year and these fixed it.

Many here will know the history better than I do, but I think someone guessed tasco, and I think I remember a response saying some have guessed it without knowing it. I’m not familiar with them, but sounds like the have a vortex-esque warranty which should reassure some people.

I just looked it up - yeah, I'd be willing to try that one, for sure.

I have no idea how well Burris Veracity scopes hold up to use/abuse. I've read tons of good reviews of them from people who hunt with them but don't recall a drop test. Put them in the 'I want to like it' category for now.

ETA: Well, crap, no, it is only available on the Veracity PH series, not the regular Veracity. Meh. Not terribly interested in the PH.

It is in the Veractiy too, but only in SFP, the Veracity PH is in the FFP. I do not understand the reasoning. It's almost like they liked the idea of the reticle and were not certain what to do with it (?).

Yeah, sounds like a pretty bad idea to me to not have a hash lined up to see which tenth you're on. If it weren't for all of the turret tapes out there now, i'd not consider buying such a scope.

I’m not the only one with experience- but I am almost the only one that has presented evidence and data in large quantities. Have you? Or is it just you don’t like having the feeling that not everyone’s experience is equal and should carry the same weight with others?
Name one other person that you believe exists that has tested in a demonstrable, repeatable way- zero retention with large quantities of scopes with hundreds of thousands of live rounds?
Can you name a single person that you believe has shown more evidence, data, and information of fact based medically validated terminal ballistics?

I said “as described”- because that is what you wrote. What “thing” doesn’t perform as Ryan or I said it would when the consumer gets it?

You misunderstand shorthand- I don’t care what ignorant people think, nor do I give credence to hair-brained ideas that don’t pass even surface level critical thinking. There are lot of non ignorant people on the forum- I do care to hear their feedback. Some, have caused changes.

No- they just had me test the prototypes. “Maven” also has no idea what they are doing with regards to what we/I care about.

Here's what I think would actually happen if you made the kind of insults you're making to a bunch of us at Ryan's house: most would just ignore you, some would just laugh, and eventually someone would gently show you the door.

Can we get back to the scopes instead of schoolyard taunts? My interest is piqued on the 2-8x36.

For my non-combative hunting purposes this would be pretty sweet; any idea on what it’d weigh? It’d have to be a bit lighter than the 3-9 swfa for me to see a benefit.
