You’re missing the point. It literally does not matter who S2H is going through to get to LOW, or whether their past scopes did or did not fail the drop tests.
All the company is, is a way for S2H to get to LOW and to spec their own features and durability.

They didn’t take an existing scope and drop a new reticle in it. They went to LOW, and requested a design that would hold zero well. (LOW already knew which designs do and don’t hold zero). So, it’s not a repurposed existing scope. A new combination of known (maybe some new) parts.

Maybe voodoo magic isn’t limited to things from Italy. I am pretty sure I recall a certain scope favored on here passing the drop test while another model from the same company didn’t, but the company said there was no difference in the internals.
