I hope the scope company rep is more knowledgeable than the Benelli rep. Just sayinMaybe voodoo magic isn’t limited to things from Italy.
Yea the drop tests suffer from low sample size, except in the case where your evaluation logic is “no single failure”.Maybe voodoo magic isn’t limited to things from Italy. I am pretty sure I recall a certain scope favored on here passing the drop test while another model from the same company didn’t, but the company said there was no difference in the internals.
Yes
I’ve been banned multiple times for offering to meet up with members.
To be clear this is not an offer as I believe the next ban will be permanent.
Im willing to face any man on earth toe to toe.
I just think it’s a crock of shit they hype all these products up,
Almost everyone on Rok suckles on there nuts like there Jesus on earth.
And nothing is ever on time or as described.
Every product is months late then has issues.
And then they don’t care what the masses want either.
So WTH is the point of engaging the masses if you don’t care about the input?
Get a pair of these and have your prescription put in them. I have a pair of their 1.25x readers for close work in the field and a pair of their goggles that are perfect for cross-country skiing in mild weather.I used to think it looked like a chore to be taking glasses on and off ... and then my eyes shifted in a matter of months and had more empathy.
I've seen different people try various methods - fully taking them on and off is a lot of excess movement. Putting them on top of your head can get in the way of earpro (and make the inside of the lens funky from sweat, sunscreen, hair oil, etc). I've found it works to just bump them down my nose to shoot, and then pull them back up. Can be done with the firing hand at the end of a shot sequence in under a second.
I can see the turret numbers and bubble level well enough without readers. Fine detail not so much, so reducing the clutter is attractive.Maybe one of these would help you old fellas out.

Gen II Pro Series Turret Magnifier
Gen II Pro Series Turret Magnifier The MK Machining Gen II Pro Series Turret Magnifier has been designed to incorporate a new lens that allows for much more magnification. It still easily mounts to your scope tube and now provides a varying amount of magnification depending on placement...www.mkmachining.com
@THLR and I like that idea, but appear to be a minority. I still think dots would be workable for everyone.I dont understand the request? Like have no markings at all other than at half and whole mils?
I think they're similar to what Jacob Bynum uses. Watching him navigate them, it looks like it takes more time to get them back on your face than just bumping glasses down your nose.Get a pair of these and have your prescription put in them. I have a pair of their 1.25x readers for close work in the field and a pair of their goggles that are perfect for cross-country skiing in mild weather.
A bad ass no doubt.
No- I don’t care at all what you think about products. You are free to post anything that you think I have factually been incorrect on and try to demonstrate it.
As you just stated, and as you post often- you generally offer nothing substantive.
You, along with a few others seem to be more upset that people/companies do not value your opinions or views, more so than you actually believe there is anything actually wrong- it seems to be the crux of the issue.
Nothing is ever as described? Please give examples of the products or (training I suppose) that isn’t as described.
Probably so, but I was dropping and scratching 5-8 pairs of readers per year and these fixed it.I think they're similar to what Jacob Bynum uses. Watching him navigate them, it looks like it takes more time to get them back on your face than just bumping glasses down your nose.
I don’t think anyone here “adores” him. I do appreciate his experience and sharing of knowledge. But I just think it pathetic how most of the members on here adore you
It was already stated to you. They needed proof that a bunch of people would be interested in such a scope, not just Form and RyanBut I just don’t understand these threads if you don’t care
It is in the Veractiy too, but only in SFP, the Veracity PH is in the FFP. I do not understand the reasoning. It's almost like they liked the idea of the reticle and were not certain what to do with it (?).I just looked it up - yeah, I'd be willing to try that one, for sure.
I have no idea how well Burris Veracity scopes hold up to use/abuse. I've read tons of good reviews of them from people who hunt with them but don't recall a drop test. Put them in the 'I want to like it' category for now.
ETA: Well, crap, no, it is only available on the Veracity PH series, not the regular Veracity. Meh. Not terribly interested in the PH.
@THLR and I like that idea, but appear to be a minority. I still think dots would be workable for everyone.
Look you have lots of valuable experience and I’ve taken it into account and adjusted some of the products I use because of it.
But I just think it pathetic how most of the members on here adore you like a like you’re the only one that’s ever done anything of value and you’re the only one that has anything to offer.
I’m not a bad ass but I’ll do my best to stand behind my mouth, I’ve been beat up before, big whoop if it happens again. I’ve got insurance.
Rok stock was late as hell, does the raven actually exist?
But I just don’t understand these threads if you don’t care, do the development privately and drop the damn product and whoever buys it buys it.
Maven didn’t start a thread prior to launching the rs1.2
I'm going to cover mine with a thin band of 33+ next week and see how it feels at the range.sounds like a pretty bad idea to me to not have a hash lined up to see which tenth you're on.
Im willing to face any man on earth toe to toe.

Glad that’s cleared up.…Im willing to face any man on earth toe to toe.
