Would you buy this scope?

Supposedly $999. That's what Jake said on one of the recent podcasts. I might have to make a trip to Salt Lake for hunt expo to see it in person and the rokstok lite
I think in the last podcast, Jake clarified by saying that's what they're still aiming for (with the implicit suggestion that they could come in slightly higher).

Given as a lot can happen before things get to market, I'd cut them some slack if they went up.

I personally think the 'guardrails' would be set by the closest competitors - the LRHS 2 at $959 and the RS1.2 at $1200 (now $1400, which seems less justifiable).

Is it still expected to be revealed at the SHOT show?
It's unclear. They said on the podcast the prototypes would be "picked up" at Shot Show.

Neither UM or S2H have a booth, so unless it's at the manufacturing partner's booth they might just be in Jake's and Ryan's backpacks, lol.

SLC expo it sounds like they'll be at a booth for sure.

No. I took the podcast comments to mean that a lot of companies were making very healthy profits when compared with production costs. Maybe I need to listen to it again?

For me, has to come in at or below the magic number or it’s a non-starter. It’s made in the same factory as the SWFA 3-15x and 3-9x. It’s going to be a tough sell to me to convince me that this is worth twice as much as one of those.

I decided I would not go off memory. Discussion of the scope is at 35:44, but interrupted by a Stocky’s ad:
