Came in late to work today and took my pack and rifle for a 4 mile hike this morning. Right at first light, I glassed up the 1st big blacktail I've seen this year. I tried to work into position for a clear shot, but he disappeared before I could make that happen. Hope to catch up to him again sometime in the near future.
