Made a play on him Wednesday morning. He’s a smart bird. Took a look at my 3/4 strut jake dec and stayed back about 50 yards hammering. Never came in. Figured out he doesn’t like decs’. We’re going after him in the morning. Didn’t want to push him thursday morning.

Quick 3ish mile loop through the Ozarks turkey scouting this morning before work. Heard 5 birds and hopefully got a couple tied up for youth season opener tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the first turkey hunt for my 2 youngest sons (twin 8 yr olds). I'm not sure if they're more excited or I am.
