I don't understand why some people are assuming those speaking out against SO is going to burn their gear. FWIW, I don't own any, but if I did I would wear it out and then when it wears out, I'd replace it with a better brand. To me it's extremely simple. Only restriction is that you can't yell fire in a crowded room if there isn't a fire.

Who competes with Seek Outside? Are they comparable? Similar prices? Go there. I've never bought anything Seek Outside but I could. I have some Patagonia clothes, because the are fantastic. It's a balance for me of buying quality, competitively priced gear and clothes with the politics of the company. Will I buy Seek Outside after all this? Possibly. Will I ever buy anything from Jane Fonda absolutely not, no, never. I joke about living in California and buying everything out of state even groceries and having them parachuted over my house. However, I rarely vacation or hunt in California, preferring to spend my money out of state. It's impossible not to buy anything from pinko commies, but the less the better.

I despise cancel culture on any side. To think that I would not buy product or get of rid a company’s product because of who they had on a podcast is ridiculous to me. I guess my brain is just wired different in that I believe I can support someone who has different political beliefs than I do.

If Seek continues to employ people in the US rather than outsource overseas, I will support them. At the end of the day, THAT is much more important to me than what the owner likes on twitter.
