Which bullet choice would everyone use?

The 2 pictures attached are of some hand loaded rounds. The faster one is the 165gr accubond 30-06 and the slower one is the 190gr accubond LR. I will be hunting elk/moose/black bear/bighorn sheep.

The 165 is similar in ballistics but I am wondering how the penetration would differ from a 190 to a 165

Accubonds are probably not necessary at 30/06 velocity. In fact, you're probably giving up terminal performance vs a standard cup and core, or tipped cup and core bullet.

165s from those choices for higher splash velocity at typical hunting ranges.

I haven’t personally had good luck with cup and core on moose or elk.

Which load is more consistent? Either will hammer, I would shoot the most accurate. I've had way better luck with regular accubonds than the long range, but if your barrel likes them you've got good options.

I haven't used 190. But I shot 165 and 180 on and off for a lot of years in my 30-06. The 180 always seemed to plant animals in place. The 165 killed them but typically had a 20-50 yard track job. Either round will work if you can shoot. I would stretch the 2 out to 300 on the range. Sometimes you will find one outshines the other as you go farther. That's half the fun of building your own.

So far the 165 but I am on the first stage of developing the 190

From what I've seen, the regular Accubond is a very reliable killer. The LR version has not impressed me at all. In your case, I'm going with the 165 every time.

Out of my extremely picky Model 70 30-06 I have the 165gr Accubonds shooting much better than me. It was the best bullet I tried once I figured out what powder charge they liked and where they wanted to be seated. I can't wait to use them this year and finally have some confidence in that rifle.

Main complaint I see is that it has a low BC which doesn't really equal "long range".
