What’s everyone favorite tripod head for the range?

As the title says. What is everyone favorite head for the range. Mostly will be using for binos and spotting scope. Not worried about weight.

For the “range”, I would think anything would work. The tripod steadiness itself would be more of a factor than the head, as you won’t be panning and tilting while trying to see holes in paper. for years I had a cheap spotter, on windy days I would take the spotter off the tripod and wedge between sandbags to keep it on target. i really like my siriu va-5 that i got after my benro s2 let me down

I was looking at the va-5 seems to have really good reviews. Do you know if will work with rrs arca plates.

i dont know about the rrs ones but the arca plates i ordered off amazon slide in tight to it but the clamp wont quite reach to lock it down, but that might be just cause they are cheap i dont know.
